Alright, so lately I've been messing around with some gravity volumes. If you like what you see, be sure to drop a comment and a like! Anyways, here's what I came up with: "Perfect Gravlift" Perfect Grav-Lift (Halo 4) Forge Tips - YouTube "Downward Ziplines" Downward Ziplines (Halo 4) Forge Tips - YouTube "Horizontal Ziplines" Horizontal Ziplines (Halo 4) Forge Tips - YouTube Again, if you like what you see, be sure to leave a comment and drop a like! Thanks!
Couple notes: the INV gravity areas are invisible, not inverted. I don't know if they still have the particle effect but the area denotation is gone. The other note is that in Reach (I haven't played around with forge enough in 4 to verify this part), ziplines were made possible by using one-way shield doors on the bridges. You can do this if you want to save gravity volumes.
What Rethal said on One-Ways. The additional plus is that you don't have to deal with gravity on top of the bridge, either. The gravity areas are better if you're going for less annoying on the eyes, though. (shiny doors..) Thanks
Here's a quick tip You don't have to double-up on grav volumes if you use a trait zone to reduce player gravity.
Pretty much. It irks me, however, that the grav volume sizes are set in stone. Why the hell couldn't they be adjustable zones like the rest of em?! They are pretty much useless unless placed in a room designed around it or where you have a space that allows an unwanted section of it to go outside the map.
I like the lift. I can see some great uses of that. But I gave 2 questions: to go up do you need to jump? Or can you just walk in? Also can you throw grenades down it from the top? Can you throw a grenade from the bottom and have it fly to the top?
You have to jump at this point, but really what you have to do is get off the ground. Since you could potentially get bumped by a shield door or something, that could be the setup. Innovation is key. If you come up with an interesting way to use all this people will love you for it. All you have to do is think about the particulars.
