Sure, I actually figured out that the reason was because I was using DOM_Turret, setting stuff back to to Shield fixed that but then there is now the issue of not everything spawning.

If you could show me how to get DOM_Turret working so everything spawns on fortify that would be great. Whats you're gamertag?

Edit: Tried loads of different setups, can't get DOM_turret to work, can anyone else confirm this?

Just glancing over the thread briefly, and I've come up with a question.

Is it possible to have fusion coils begin raining down upon capture of an artillery outpost? Almost like an air raid from battlefield? Obviously you wouldn't be able to aim it, but some cool concepts could be made.

I think if they were set to spawn when the base fortifies it would be completely plausible.
Haven't tried using fusion coils at all yet though

I don't have Halo 4 yet, but I want to ask...
Is there a gametype in Halo 4 with a scoring system and the objectives that you score are made into objectives via gametype label? Because the Haloball gametype from Halo Reach had the gametype labels "SKEEBALL_OBJ"(Objective) and "HB_GOAL"(Goal).

The effect is very similar but even more versatile to the effect you are displaying here, because you could label any object as an objective and any object as a goal.

So yeah... Is there a gametype like that in Halo 4?

It did work at some point, i just need to figure out why it isn't working now :p

    Undergoing Extensive testing now

    Update #1:
No turret functions seem to work.

I apologize for unintentionally misleading people. I believe i set a timer to the objects and they spawned coincidentally when I fortified the bases.

So as long as the player isn't too close to the object, everything will work perfectly :)

    Still testing other potential options.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Update #2:

Created a whole load of objects associated with a base all tagged with the dom_shield. So far there are only two objects specifically that don't spawn right away *sometimes*, while every single other object does.

These two objects are also the ones located closest to player 2. Aside from that I'll take a look at whats different about those objects in comparison to every other. We're working towards a cure guys and gals ;) Complete credit goes to OP though.

    --------------------------------------------------------

    Update #3:

    PROBLEM SOLVED.

The rule for dom_shields is that if the player is within a few feet of it, it won't spawn to stop players getting crushed or stuck in anything.

I'll link to my file share so people can view the screenshots /non-rendered video ... when the file share is up

That is a very good observation.

I was thinking it was too many objects and that the collection internal to the game engine had trouble with spawning more than say two. But apparently he figured out what it is, now the trick is to design a map so that a player never interferes with the spawning of the objects.

I have a one way shield (not a Dominion shield, but a gadget one way shield) spawn over the top of my bravo base. It doesn't seem to be problematic, and it is the only DOM_SHIELD on the map.
