343 has made it extremely hard to make maps and variants for mini games. Take trash compactor for example, there are fewer objects that can be thrown into the "compactor" to splatter the survivors and most of which doesn't hurt people when it hits people! And without infection it has been very hard to make the gametypes. I've had luck with making a predator-like gametype which my friends and I are now referring to as "Graze" because of the survivors likeliness to run through open spaces and collect weapon drops to defend themselves (sorta like a cow grazing but slightly less violence). Anyway, does anyone know how to make a gametype I can use for Jenga or to make a splatter-type gametype?
Yeah, it's a joke that 343 took out all the good game types. You can still make splatter games but the damage has to be set to on.
Goddammit I wanted to get the answer all by myself! They dun goofed on this one, but I think the community uproar my influence them in updates for the coming months and the planned DLC.
I haven't really seen how it works yet, but I've set up a bit of a Predator gametype using Regicide. Mostly because I really wanted the Predator to have Promethian vision and the survivors not to...
they are not bungie... they have focused on making the game play fast and furious. some complain that it is too fast to setup decent strategies, that the game play is more akin to the original halo game play as a result.
Thread Locked, complain in here or in one of the other 30 threads, please. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-...ointed-forge-now-lets-get-343-hear-us-10.html
