ASTI Asti is my current attempt to remake a map of mine from Reach known as Astra onto Halo 4. I thought out of my maps it would be the easiest and most flexible to forge in Halo 4. Some significant changes were made to the map such as making it symmetrical and adding a new hard path to top. I am sure there will be many more changes over the next few weeks of testing and if you wish to help test just send me a message and I will invite you when possible. The power weapons on the map are currently the railgun and the gravity hammer. Now for some pictures The overall layout of the map. Here is a closer look of middle. The blue and red lights are there to signify that the pad is a jump pad using a character trait zone. If anyone has a better suggestion other than using shield doors please let me know. These images are too small to make out anything more than a general idea of what is being shown. Still, you have always impressed me with your maps, so I'm sure this will be fun. If I'm free to play and you need a tester don't hesitate to invite. Besides, I would be interested in taking a better look at Asti.
This looks great. Astra was a lot of fun and the new pallet makes the map look better. From what I can make out (from the tiny pics!) it looks like there were some substantial changes.
If this is anything like Astra, then post a video submission to me and i'll certainly take a good look at it!
Sorry for the small pictures guys but I have already tried making the pictures bigger but to no avail. If anyone can let me know why my pictures are so small I would appreciate it. @Oli I will be sure to submit my map at a later times because as of now I feel that the map will undergo a serious amount of change in the next few tests.
Played this last night, I thought it had very good flow. High traffic areas had constant fighting and low traffic area provided good space to set up some interesting 1v1s around the perimeter of the map. If I played it a few more time I might be able to give some constructive feedback or suggestions on how to improve but all I can say now is well done. Solid 8/10
