    Concussion is a map I have finished over the last few days. I had originally planned not to release any more maps for Reach. I have a number of maps and designs ready to be used in Halo 4. The wait for Halo 4 has seem me getting back into forge and I have subsequently decided to post this map in Reach to guage reception before deciding whether to remake in Halo 4 or not.​

    I'll keep the rest of this post short and sweet. The map is made for Team Doubles Only. It will not support any more than four players for team games. If you have a larger party then it has spawns for eight player free for all but I should warn you that it has not been fully testing on this gametype. ​

    The weapon set up is focused on being balanced and fair. It has the usual setup of standard weapons, placed where you would expect to find them. Power weapons are the Rocket Launcher and UNSC Sniper Rifle. ​

    My only concern is the upper level seems extremely open for the size of the map. I can see the spawning on the map being forced continuously to the bottom levels forcing the losing team to constantly siege the upper levels in order to regain control. If a player did respawn on the upper-level, it appears they'd be shortlived as the upper area seems relatively easy to control with one person, nevermind two.

    I haven't played the map and this is just my interpretation of the map. However, I can't see where the Rocket Launcher spawns. I'm just hoping you've placed it at the bottom of the map as the Sniper is already on the top level...

    A good forge all round though. It looks clean and I do like the layout, I just think the upper deck could do with being expanded a little and more broken up with it's sight lines.

    hi stevo, thanks for the comments.

    During playtesting the upper level never felt too easily controllable. Its hard to tell from the photos but the sight lines are broken up nicely. The original version of the map did have too many open areas but it is rectified and plays pretty well. The top of the map is actually quite difficult to control. The rockets spawn at the mid level by the grav lift which makes an assault on the top level a cake walk. The sniper rifle also does well to counter this, it is actually more helpful to have on the lower areas than the top due to the LOS blockers.

    This played fantastically in testing and I'm glad you decided to post it before H4. I hope you decide to remake it in Reach! I particular love the tunnels underneath the map which really maker it seem bigger and more complex in layout.
