Villa By: PA1NTS Villa is a casual free-roam infection map that takes place in a small village. Surviviors are to take cover and take point in one of the many buildings in the village. Zombies come from all over. Look out! Each building has a distinct theme, and offers different ways to arm yourselves. I will go through the buildings and tell you a little bit about each one. Remember: Humans start with nothing but an assault rifle. There are lots of weapons placed throughout these buildings. The shack is a simple holdout, it won't give you much security fom zombies, but you will find a shotgun and a frag grenade in here. It is a good place to run off of the start. Notice the initial human spawn. This is one of four places humans can start. The storage facility is a bit more of an interesting holdout, you get lines of sight out into the village, but there's multiple ways to escalate the structure from below. You will find a health pack, a magnum, an assault rifle, a shotgun and a sniper rifle in this building. Zombies can respawn on top of the building. Next to the storage facility is the meeting room. The meeting room serves as nothing but a quick spot to grab a magnum and recharge your shields. The communications centre is a great spot for two or three people to hold down. It has a relatively safe loft with good lines of sight for sniping. In the comms centre you will find a shotgun, a sniper rifle, an assault rifle and a frag grenade. The canteen's window has been boarded up but there is a back entrance under the stairs that go to the roof. The canteen has an assault rifle, a frag grenade and a machinegun turret. The garage is one of the four spots humans can spawn. In the garage the humans can find a warthog, a mongoose, an assault rifle, a shotgun, a health pack and a DMR. Zombies can respawn on the roofs. Next to the garage is the church. The humans are able to grab a shotgun, a healthpack and an assault rifle in here. Notice another human initial spawn zone. Zombies can also respawn on top of the church. The front door to the convenience door is still boarded shut. There is another entrance, a back door that leads inside the store. The place is packed with ammo. Two shotguns, a magnum and an assault rifle. Notice the last human starting point. The tower is the highest point on the map, grab a sniper rifle on your way up. Poor sightlines to the entrances and low zombie traffic make this place a bit more balanced for zombies, they also get to respawn up here. There is a sniper rifle, assault rifle and health pack. The cabin is small building with multiple small entrances. There is a spartan laser and an assault rifle in the cabin. The destroyed bus. Grab a shotgun from the back of it and then get the hell out of there. Centrally located, the high rise ia good place for humans to bunker down, although all you will find is assault rifle ammo and grenades here. That's the last building. Here's an overview shot. Aaaaand... That about wraps it up. Thanks guys.
While some of the building look cool I do not like how the entire ground level is totally flat an how none of the buildings are connected. This basically looks like humans would pick a building and sit in it, because leaving it would probably get you killed whereas sitting on the roof and sniping would rack up kills in the very open areas between then buildings. While this sounds fun for the humans it doesn't look like zombies would be able to do much.
Your right, I know. I was hoping for some super flat terrain in halo 4 then we could at least. Mix it with some colisseum walls and Bam you have height variation.
Well guess what, the jumbo wall is gone so goodbye easy to build flat maps. How about this name: Archipelago
WHAAT. No coliseum walls? Is that confirmed? Shitty titties. And honestly Rem I'm not gunna release this map. It took me three days to make and i just thought it was fun forging one last kinda zombie city in reach.
Alright. Well, I believe the good old coliseum walls are back, but the jumbo ones they promised that are much bigger won't be present.
