Argile Created by: PA1NTS A linear progression infection map where the main goal is to guard the scorpion tank for as long as possible. The tank will provide 500% damage resistance and it also serves as perfect way to keep your squad together, at least for the first part of the mission. Up the road, you will find a safe-room that will close itself with 10 seconds remaining in the game, so be ready. Like always, there's a wide range of weapons. Don't be a hero trying to get all the good weapons though, you'll more than likely be killed. Stick together, use team shooting. You need to watch high up in the buildings, especially at the start of the journey. That's all I'm gunna say for right now! Enjoy playing. Thanks to FantasticNoob79 for the help. He's gunna be an upcoming forger in Halo 4. Pictures:
Wow. I thought this map was good when you showed it to me before. But now, it looks incredible. I love the special feature with the scorpion. It looks like it would add a lot to the map, and is very original (I think). Great job, +1 dl. Also, invite me if you play on this any time soon.
Excellent work with the destroyed areas. It's rare that people manage to make things appear so destroyed without simply looking like poor forging technique. I hope I have a chance to play this before Halo 4.
great looking map paint, I'd love to play it sometime with you and use that tank haha. send us a invite when you're playing sometime.
Ah, so you kept the tank Great! What's with the stair-type thing? It seems to me like a ramp would be a lot faster and less annoying than jumping repeatedly..
I was thinking the same thing actually. You could utilize the invisible side of the 3x3 short to make it seem like your walking up a flat ramp, if that makes sense. The map looks terrific. I haven't managed to play it, but I do remember you showing it to me. The destroyed, urban theme were pulled off very well.
It is a ramp. It's an invisible ramp though, because I wanted it to look like stairs. I used the invisible part of a strut.
lol, obvious. I would be suprised if anyone would be dumb enough to build a stairs without such an invis ramp this late in Reach. Anyway, sexy map is sexy. Although I haven't tested this map yet, you did show me around in Forge and I really liked the aesthetics. You put a lot of budget into making the buildings/structures look realistic and under the influence of the apocalypse. It did seem a bit short though, but I remember you said something about that and that you had no choice, so I won't blaim you for that. Overall, looks nice, can't wait to get a game going.
