Halo 4 is right around the corner so im going to post the rest fo my maps soon but first I need to show you MSB Kingdom made by Mad Shark Bite and Cheiyijei. This is an MLGCtf made map so the best gametype would be "ZBpitCTF" the map is very simple but have styles that Mad Shark and myself both like. Here is what blue and red base look like. with an open lot in center that Mad Shark likes to use in all his maps and walk ways on the sides that are well covered but still open that I like using. The base is a combo of both me and him and it looks great to me The center has an open feel to it with a GL in the middle next to 2 Needlers. At the end of the middle are 2 snipers but since this is a small covered map, you'll mostly be no scoping Thank you and be on the look out for my good bye Halo Reach map pack.Here is a little sneak peek of one of the maps comming in my map pack
Cool map! I'll make sure to dl it. It reminds me of asylum, but pimped out. My only concern, is in the third pic, there are two needlers and a grenade launcher. It seems like too many power weapons in one area. Maybe try to take some away, or spread them around.
yeah the map actually looks really good and well forged, but it isnt anything new unfortunately. My main concern is pic 2, by the looks of things there are 2 needlers, a grenade launcher and 2 snipers, which is crazy. you should spread them out across the map like leave the grenade launcher were it is put the needlers at the sniper spot and move the snipers down closer to each base. (thats just a suggestion of what i would do). i will definitely download this because i like the map alot from the pics and i want to see the whole weapons layout but good job. also your 3rd pic looks awesome i cant wait
This may be just me, but if you're going to advertise your other maps, could you put that material in a spoiler? The red hurts my eyes too Another request: Overhead pic, please? It's hard to grasp the layout from your thread. The object use is pretty predictable, but the color scheme works nicely. From what I can tell: You seem to only have two levels - this will make lines of sight, in general, rather long. You also made the lower areas very open and gave the upper areas lots of cover. Adding more rocks or structure to the lower level would make gameplay more interesting. As it is, I don't see why anyone would want to go out in the open there, except to cross quickly.. Center also looks OP. Awkward symmetricality - you have 2 health packs, 2 needlers, and two snipers, plus a GL at the origin very close to each other. Try dispersing the power weapons. The health packs might also play better on the lower level. Although this is more opinionated, I'm going to say it anyway: I'm not really a fan of the tin cups turned upside down in the center. Compared with the real ground, they just look... fake. I'll download this and come back if there's anything significant to add.
