Toxic Compound Map Toxic Water Game Variant Toxic Compound is a new Infection map created by me and my friend. It takes place on Ghost Town and has a lot of cool features about it. There are four bases throughout the map at the beginning of a match. Each has its own unique weapons and defenses. Over time, new blockades and explosives spawn to help defend the area. After a short while into the game, a bridge will spawn granting access to a new base built strictly for heavy weapons. Sounds kind of cool, right? It gets better. The map takes place near the end of the day, and it gets darker throughout the match. It starts out normal followed by 3 different color variations. Pictures will explain that more. This map looks OK, but the pics are too small(sorry), and you should have added some more to the map. Props for using Day/Night system!!!
your day night system appears to work much better than most ive seen because you can atcully still see things were as the others ive seen change the image so much it just looks like a brown black blur!
I'm aware about the pics. I'm messing around with codes to make them bigger without clicking on them. If anyone can help me, that'd be great, lol. EDIT: There! Pics resized now. Stop squinting. ;D
i like the idea kinda like i am legend, the pics need to b bigger but looks fun with allot of players
You might want to reduce the 'weapon caches' which is a problem for some infection maps I think. But other than that great work with the time of day Nova effects. Keep up the good work.
Please re-name the title of this thread to just the name of the map. I am not a big fan of infection, at all. So i'm sorry i can't really comment on this map. I will say that i have seen the Day and Night system before and that Armouries are not really a very good idea, i suggest improving the weapon placement
In the beginning of the match, most of it is open. The items are set on respawn times that will appear later into the game. For example, about 20 seconds into the game, small blockades of pallets and barrels will prevent zombies from running straight on in. Also, turrets will spawn at two of the bases as extra help.
The map reminds me of the map Untill Darknessv2 but this map has alot of empty areas you should add more stuff to fill in the map because it seems very bland as of now but its still good for one of your first maps.
looks pretty good, glad to see a map on ghost town, though if you would please remove the "infection" in your title, it would then meet the standards here completely, to do that, simply go to the original post, edit the post, and edit the subject...now, as for the map, i love the day/dusk/night thing you got going on, always a great idea in ghost town i think...but as for the weapons...i'm not entirely sure you should have them all bunched up the way you have them, whether or not this is intended for infection, having a bunch of power weapons in one location = camping...
