This Weekend if I get a chance, I will be trying to get some updates down on Sacrement and Consquence, so hopefully you will see Improved versions coming in . Now back to the main reason why I put this post up: I came up with two ideas for maps and gametypes, obviously the maps are not completed never mind started yet, but I would like to see if the ideas seem to... Be useful and not broken. Anyway, I'm sure some of you remember the Map Beacon? One post was put on about Beacon being an infection map, reminded the guy about Halflife 3? So, rather than just standard gameplay, how about an infection map? I've already began doing... 'surgery' in some fancy context on Beacon, the updated Beacon will remove some structure at the bottom. The humans will have to get up to the top of the cliff within 2:30 or 3 mins, whilst zombies start jumping down from the old base above. Humans can gather weapons on the way up (some weapons being hidden) and the zombies will be fast and tough, but will need to get two sword swipes in to seal the deal. After two and a half minutes, a pair of falcons spawn, allowing humans to escape. The second idea is a Insane Gametype idea, but reallys on theroy really... Well there's a few ideas for a sniping map. One idea involves having a player snipe cones or balls onto an bomb plate, gaining points, all whilst another attempents to kill him. Another form of sniper mini game would be the zombies being equipped with SRs and the Humans also equipped with SRs. Engaging in a sniper duel of sorts. Let me know how these ideas seem, especially the Beacon idea. I'm not really sure what you're saying about Beacon - maybe some pictures would help. If you do decide to go for sniper rifle infection, make sure that headshots are off... otherwise all of the humans will be killed really damn fast... plus the humans should have enough damage resistance to take... maybe five shots with no regen? Teamshooting would be huge in that game... and you'd have to stop the zombies from camping at high ground and sniping all the humans...
You misread his words. He's thinking about making two maps: one concerning a cliff where zombies will drop down on the humans, the other one being an Insane gametype compatible map utilizing sniper battles.
