    Monument
Before I get started with this map I would just like to let you know that the only reason I made this map was because my friends played MLG and I thought it would come in handy when we did customs. I personally dont play a lot of MLG games so if this is way off the mark I apologise in advance. This is designed only for the purpose of fun so please dont be ripping it to bits and telling me I suck, at least I gave it a go. Lets get to the point anyway, MLG Monument is built up in the flat grass above the colliseum and is a symmetrical map. It has multiple levels and lots of great lines of sights all the way across the map for DMR but also has a lot of close quarters combat also.ENJOY
    SPAWN ROOM
    [IMG]
This is the room where you will spawn in team games, there is Hologram in this room and a window that looks straight out across to the other spawn room past the Invisibility power up.
    SNIPER WALKWAY
    [IMG]
One of the routes from spawn will lead you down the back walkway to the Sniper Rifle, there is a walkway down the centre of the map from here that overlooks the spawns and leads you down to an overshield near the centre of the map.

    GRAVITY LIFT
If you leave Spawn the opposite side you can head to the centre of the map going up the ramp to the Overshield or through the door to the grav lift.

There is an Armour Lock power up at the bottom of the lift.
    THE MONUMENT
If you dont go to the centre of the map you can go straight up to the Monument where you will find the Rocket Launcher and some good lines of sight for your DMR.

It's says you made the map for fun. Wouldn't that be considered a casual map? Or just a regular competitive map. What makes it MLG?

I labelled it as MLG because of the armour abilities on the map and the power ups, maybe I got the wrong idea about the differences between MLG and normal games. Let me know the differences if you want, like I said before, I dont really play much MLG. If this needs putting under casual then someone let me know and I will gladly sort it.

I think in MLG the only armor abilities alowed are evade and jetpack. and the OS powereup is forebidden (7th pic). The only weapons on the map are DMR refils, NR's, Plasma Pistol's.

The only power weapons ar the GL on a 118 spawn time and the SNIPE on a 118 spawn time, and the RL which is on 178 spawn time. all three of these weapons need to be on an mlg drop spawn. Here is a video tutorial on how to make the drop spawns.

(video not by me) How to get Weapons to Drop Spawn (MLG Times) in Forge - Vampire Gaming - YouTube

not sure what the other spawn times are on but thats why google was invented.

Im pretty sure posting videos are okay o_O i can change it to a link if needbe

I don't believe MLG allows armor abilities at all anymore. Instead of OS, you could try a custom powerup, which provides 200% dmg resistance (that's a 7 shot kill with a DMR) with MLG gametypes.

    EDIT: Whoops, it's a nine shot kill. 150% is a 7 shot.

Thanks for you help, I think I'll just leave this map how it is and stick to making normal maps, all this weapon spawn times and drops and abilities is too much for my brain to process.

on picture 4, is that blue thing a weapon dispenser or a tv? Just wondering, lol.

Also, the middle structure, should be bigger and nicer to look at if it's going to be the center of the map.

Its a weapon dispenser that dispenses one sniper rifle and an infinite amount of TV's that you can smash peoples heads through, infinitely. LOL LOL LOL

This is actually looks like a very thorough map, and the monument looks very well done. Question, is that forged grass or natural beneath the monument (9th pic)?

Thanks for the good feedback on the map, at least one person likes it, lol. The grass is just a couple of upside down Tin Cups from the Toys section. I hope in H4 there are bigger sections of flat grassy areas, and useable trees would be nice also.

    @fpsQUADRAsnipar
    That's forged grass.

I thought the map played very well however...
Did you ever think of just placing one power-up rather than both over-shields and camo?
I think the map just seems a little too crazy having both.
