Now, i know everyone has an xbox here, but there are definitely some people who own a PS3. so, Journey, freaking wicked-sick. from the guys who made flower - thatgamecompany - is Journey. I'd start to describe it for you but, damn, if a picture is a thousand words, there ain't enough internet for a description in full. the music is great: Journey Soundtrack - Woven Variations - YouTube gameplay: Journey [PS3] - Halls of Blue Gameplay Clip - YouTube Spoiler Journey PS3 Walkthrough Part 7 (Ending) (with 2 travelers) - YouTube anyone else have it? played it? what's your opinion?
i REALLY want to get it, but i haven't been able to justify the £11 that it costs on the PS Store ... Is it worth the money? How long is it? I gladly dropped my cash for Limbo / Braid / Bastion / Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, so ... Limbo and Bastion are two of my all-time favourite games.
so worth it. if you ever think games as more than just a medium for 'spolsions then you have to get this.
On that note then, you should get Fez. IT IS ****ING AMAZING. Best soundtrack in a game for the last few years.
I'd love to play this game but no PS3. Hopefully they'll eventually port it, but from what I've read it's unlikely since Sony basically owns the title.
This looks pretty interesting. I also do not have a ps3. But I have been thinking about getting one. Need to play Uncharted 2 and 3 and MGS4. This is looking like another reason to get one. You must be from New England lol
i bought the soundtrack apotheosis is my fav. Journey Soundtrack (Austin Wintory) - Apotheosis - YouTube
Mind if I necro bump this? I don't want to make a new topic. I played it for the third time today, before I give the PS3 I'm borrowing back. Oh man, this is easily one of the best games, or works of media even that I've ever played. I'm considering buying a used PS3 if only for Journey. It's definitely worth trying to get your hands on this if you have the appreciation for a deeper and more artistic story and adventure-based approach to a game. I got the soundtrack and agree with QKT, Apotheosis is the best, though I wouldn't listen to it until you get to that point in the game; it makes it oh so satisfying. To add more weight to this bump, I'd add that they released a collector's edition only a week or so ago: Amazon.com: Journey Collector's Edition: Video Games It also has Flower and Flow, and while I haven't completed either of them, I've played a bit of each and found myself liking them as well. It looks well worth it, if you have a PS3. I got more out of that game than many AAA titles that cost me four times as much.
when you go outside you get beat up by all the little girls in your area. they're releasing an art of journey book in september.
No I don't, when I go outside it's ****in' great! I walk around town with a boombox on my shoulder blasting Fight the Power and I get my crew
That's too bad. You're missing out on a great game, assuming you have an emotional range greater than a snail. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, QKT, I saw that, and I'm really interested in it. I'm working towards becoming a Concept Artist, or something similar eventually so the Art of Journey in book form sounds freakin' amazing.
yeah, i googled journey art a ton after playing it but i couldnt find any. hopefully the book will be available in europe for not much more.
