Ok, so according to various sources, xbox live is down. It is rumored to be hackers, but is not confirmed. The website won't work either. It said that my account has been signed in on another console last time I went on (which I didn't do) which leads me to believe this was the work of hackers . Waypoint is still up, and it still has my info. I can't however, find my account on my xbox, even offline. Microsoft is working to fix this problem. But I felt I should inform you guys about this, and I hope you can still get onto your accounts O.K., unlike me.
I forgot my password so if they make me have to reenter it I can't access my profile... Also move this to general chat.

Microsoft wouldn't hide it if it was hackers. Look at how Sony handled the situation and got sued out of their asshole. When you're hacked, you need to let your consumers know so they can take their own proper safety measures.
As much as I want to say it is because the servers saw that black mesa was releaseing so melted, I won't (even though I just did. Take THAT, society!) The page is back up. Probably just maintainance.

Problem's resolved, seems like it broke under stress from people trying ot download Skyrim's new DLC Hearthfire. Unstuck, locked.
