    Any feedback is welcome, of course.

    Shelby is yet another small design I created some time ago. The idea behind the initial design was to create a fast paced map with movement being in constant, circular motions. I don't have much desire to forge more than just a playable version as I know it would end up looking generic were I to release it, so I figured I'd see if anybody wanted it. The design has a couple of fundamental problems, but it's not bad.

    The teleporters are one way leading from bottom floor to the upper in both cases. I will put up a link to the file if anybody is interested.

    I actually liked this layout when you showed it to me. The changes are definitely an improvement. I don't see how it's generic. What are the problems you had with the design?

    I don't see why you don't just release the version you made.. It's great map. Why work to figure out a layout and make theactual map too if you were just gunna give it away. Plus, you haven't released a map ina while.

    Here you go

    By generic, I meant that there is currently nothing to set it apart and, knowing me, the map would end up looking like the other couple of 1v1s being posted lately. As for the problem, it felt to close quarters as all the lines of sight were either short or barely mid-ranged.

    Like I said, just an old playable version that neglected some of the older problems to test a certain gametype, nothing worth releasing.

    Hey I finished forging this map, except it looks pretty ugly to me. I had to improvise with forging under the overlapped areas.

    Soon enough, it'll be ready to test. I feel like this will play better with 3 second respawns to meet the size of the map with a good pace of play (also for spawn issues). Regardless, I'll need to replace a bunch of pieces.

    I think your standards for a map are too high basket. No one is gunna build it better than you, especially since you thought out the layout. Forge world is grey, so what. It's the gameplay that matters. And yours worked amazingly. Still interested in seeing the adopted version.

    Cool, show it to me some time. I figured you would have to improvise given that I didn't completely finish those overlapped areas in the sketchup anyway :p

    It isn't the amount of color but the originality that I wouldn't be able to give the map. I agree that gameplay is more important than aesthetics, but I would be disappointed knowing that if I released it, it would look like every other 1v1 that's been made in the past month. Thank you for the compliment by the way.

    Well I don't expect myself to test it since I haven't been as active as I used to. But I suppose I'll just upload it here.
