This is still a work in progress, as I have yet to finish the background for it. 00Riser on deviantART I opted to make it look childish (not super serious looking) due to it being the "death of innocence". The background is going to be night time with children Trick-or-Treating. EDIT: When I say Death of Innocence, I mean it literally. This is the Grim reaper assigned to innocence rather than souls.
I don't get the childish feel, in fact i don't get it at all. Surely you are trying to create a character that has acquired emotional baggage or responsibility, but i don't feel that.
Its more of symbolism than any of that. It is more or less the grim reaper that kills off the innocence of our youth when we grow older. So I felt it appropriate to make it look more childish than a normal Grim Reaper. Kinda sounds stupid but I started it so I'll run with it. Does it at least look good?
