They haven't really released any footage or real information on WarZ, other than what the general idea behind the game is, and a few screen shots. That being said, the screenshots look interesting, and it's at least being developed by a real team. It's something to watch for.
Rocket (the lead developer of the mod) actually works at Bohemia Interactive. He has actually been working there shortly before he made the DayZ mod. Considering the fact that the mod is built purely off scripts makes it impressive in its own right. However, now that Rocket has been given a full development team, I think we can expect great things. Even if it were a mod in the upcoming BI release, Arma III, it would vastly improve things all around. As a huge fan of DayZ, I'm probably going to fanboy and stick to it. In addition to the standalone DayZ game, I will probably purchase Arma III. It looks amazing -- and if DayZ is run off of the engine, it will look beautiful. As of right now, it has been said that Arma III will not only be more pretty, but it won't even require a computer upgrade. I think that's pretty awesome.
Day 25: SURPRISE (DAYZ) - YouTube Hutch > Goldie Goldie is a whiney *****. I've never really liked him.
Robot Zombie - YouTube This video > any other dayZ video Why? Because its all other dayZ videos in one... robot chicken style.
