I was randomly inspired today to do this, I personally think it's nice looking but I'm biased towards it since I made it.

Should I keep doing stuff like this, or is this a stupid style?

EDIT: Made changes to the face, made it less round.

I like the vector style, but I just think you need to refine it a bit more.

Very cool, I wish I could do something like that. My only critique: his face looks a little too round and why's he so unhappy :p

Well, he's unhappy because he's all alone with Navi, but lost. Thanks for the critique guys, it helps more than you know to have positive reinforcement while trying something new like this.

I'll be editing his face to make it less round, giving him an angular chin. I've been working on this style since I first made this:

    Then I posted this:

    I'm making progress, I'd say.

    Hey, You!

That's really cool. I might try doing some vector drawing too sometime. Is Adobe Illustrator any better than Photoshop for doing this. Seeing as I have both I wondered which one was better for actual drawings.

For vector stuff Illustrator may be better. I personally don't know, I just use Photoshop for my stuff. With the occasional use of Inkscape for spirals and twirly things.
