This is my latest forge map called lost temple. It was built by the ancients for one reason to protect the Orange Idle! If you remove the orange Idle from the temple, it will Set off a trap! I took a lot of inspiration from Indiana Jones, I hope you guys like it! =DDOWNLOAD!
Just played thought this map with 2 friends and i have to say its a shame but i was disapointed. Mainly because when you mention a trap i thought cool a closeable room or dumpster death or something i didnt really have my money on a flying ball. And i didnt really understand how to get to the top of the tower perhaps making it clearer other then that nice interlocking and cool idea 3/5
Looks pretty cool...i would post some more screen shots...dont let a good map go unnoticed here...good job so far...keep on forgin!
it looks good but you might want to add a couple of more pics. It does make a difference in swading people to DL
I like the layout, but you should have maybe added something a little different than a soccer ball. I dont think they can kill you if you have full health. But ill Dl and play it for a little different playing style.
You definitely need more pics, especially showing the inside and the trap. EDIT: Oh, I see you've linked to them. But you should probably still include them in the main body of your post, along with other detail shots.
Add more pics, from the look of it you dont have any scenery around the temple either, but I have not played it yet so I wouldn't know ( again more pictures) I am gonna DL cause the concept sounds interesting.
This looks really cool, Que'd! I am going to go watch Indiana Jones tommorow and this looks like this will set the mood lol
Good start for a temple. If you want to expand the idea to encompass more booby traps and tricks, check out some of the "Saw" maps the community has made. You can do alot more with runtime trigger effects and powerup/mancannon traps. If you download an infinite budget canvas map, you could start on a terraced temple, mayan-style. Look up some Guatemalan temples on google for some architectuctual inspiration.
lol indian (not racist just he said it) Map looks very neat and well consturucted as a first post very good and welcome
Whoops fixed that... also took off the links to the two other pics! working on a couple of other forge maps right now...
