M4SONIC - Weapon (Live Launchpad Mashup) - YouTube Madeon - Pop Culture (live mashup) - YouTube I really hope at some point I get one of these.
Oh my god.. I thought the first was incredible, and then I listened to the second.. Holy **** that was amazing. Why can't I be this good already Guess it just comes with experience. Do you use a sample/launch pad neverendinghalo? If so, how much time did you spend getting used to the program you use before purchasing one? I'm really considering getting one, but I want to make sure I really know how to use FLS first.
I'm sure this can't take that long to do, it's interesting and is very "sugary" to the ears, but it frustrates me that it's based off of prerecorded stuff... not a whole lot of gourmet tunes going on here imo.
The second one was made by a french 18 year old named Madeon, real famous, seen him on Turntable a couple of times....he used a Ableton Novation Launchpad, and no I wish could get one for my birthday.LOL. Madeon was just born with musical talent, and lots of practice helps. Yeah If I had one, I would recomend getting one, I know a couple of people that just bought one or have been using them for mashups and stuff. The first one is amazing I thought, just because I like dubstep, but man did Madeon did an awesome job making a banger. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Doing all the samples in the Madeon mashup wouldve taken atleast a few days, not to mention the fact of mastering and all that stuff. Making all the samples for a mash with Launchpad could be quite fustrating tbh, from what I've heard from people on Turntable that have a launchpad. and in the Madeon mashup, there is 39 samples, just saying.
These are great. I've had my eye on getting an Ableton for a while now, but I just don't have the money to spend on something frivolous like that, and to be honest, it seems pretty intimidating. I'd love one, don't get me wrong, and I'd practice the **** out of it if I had one. We'll see what happens in the near future, though.
Wow, that was incredible. I don't think I would ever get one because I'd be so terrible with it, but while I was watching that, I kept thinking about how a ton of people don't call that music, despite the fact that it looks like a piano on steroids and is probably as difficult as that.
I could see Ableton being x10 better using a launchpad. Im hoping to get a launchpad soon. [br][/br]Edited by merge: It is pretty incredible.
God if I had one of these I'd be putting music out at an ungodly pace. It'd be like a kid with a new drumset.
I have an mpd18, just a small 16 pad sample midi controller, and it is one of the funnest things to play with, i can only imagine having a launchpad, i was looking at one but i dont think itd be pratical for the kind of music i want to make, but anyways good find haha the second song was insane
