SwaT Jokers Infection Tunnel V2 ! Hey guys, I was going to upload this about a week after I releeased the first version of Infection Tunnel(s) but I was really busy but here it is now. Enjoy! Exerpt from the first version: Infection Tunnels is a more of a competitive based variant which requires survival. The map itself is pretty small and it is very narrow. The map has 5 openings on the top where the infected are doomed to spawn and drop down on the humans trying to run out the allotted time till the next round. Players may have to turn their sensitivity up a notch or two due to looking up and around frantically searching for dropping zombies. Humans start of with a Magnum and Sprint for the first loadout and the shotgun for the second (no sprint). This map works with 3 gametypes so far; sjIT: Original Edition, sjIT: Camo Edition and sjIT: Safe Haven Edition. The original gametype is found above in the banner. This is way better than the older map. Now the humans have more room, but the zombies can jump on them in different areas. Try adding a FX just to make it seem a little cool and scary.
Adding some crates and barriers would make it harder for the humans because of the sheer openness of the map, while the zombies can jump down its not that hard if you have a few guys looking up and a few covering the tunnel
I disagree. Because the map has a cross shape, it will require a lot of teamwork among the humans in order to be sure that others have their backs covered. Also, there are a lot of entrances to the tunnel so zombies have quite a lot of options to go for, especially if they work together as well and close in a group of humans going through separate holes, and at the same time closing off these humans from the rest of their fellow survivors. I don't like this kind of maps anyway, but I don't think there will be a problem with sightlines. However, as I haven't played this map, I can't tell for sure so correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah, like REM said, adding those crates and barriers will really have a bad effect on the sightlines and also does take alot of team work to complete a round.
wow! This map is much better now! Sorry I never was able to help out. If you need help in any future map, send me a vm on forge hub. I think this is a great map now, but the one thing I dislike is the light above the map. It's sort-of ugly and unnecessary. But you did a great job on this map. Especially how well you listened to feedback, and changed the map according to what people said needed to be changed. Most people who are new to forge hub don't take cunstructive criticism that well, but you listened to it and were able to create a better map. Nice job.
