So, I plan on making a team swords map, but with a gigantic twist. so before I make it, i would like to get other people's views on team swords, like if you enjoy it or not.
Team Swords is like Phantom Pistols on Waterworks. Don't. But if you have an interesting twist to it, do tell.
I don't really think I've ever played team swords before but it sounds alright. Free 4 All swords is of course fun, especially when played on Lockout, the best map EVER for KOTH, swords, shotguns, etc. But what is this twist you speak of?
Team Swords aint fun. Its just kill stealing constantly. Team Hammers would be better, if you like that kind of thing..
Ugh Team Hammers... I can never win a hammer on hammer battle Swords are at least semi-fair Ok maybe not but at least you get a longer lunge
my twist is that you will have 2 times overshields on the start and there will be 8 carbines and 2 battle rifles on the map. also the shield recharge rate would be 10 %. and so you can have two people shooting and two people protecting them with the swords. also there are bubble shields and regenerators so it doesn't turn into a gun fight.
Team swords is plain stupid in my opinion. When its nothing but swords the lunge becoem useless as you will be shredded by the B melee attack. If your "twist" works ,great but i think its a little iffy.
FFA swords, swords in general can be very frustrating, if there is some kind of twist dont keep us in the dark. Swords can be frustrating because of lag. EVen the tiniest lag can cause an unhappy experience.
