I'll try to make this brief. I'm trying to set up Assault as the Phase 3 objective for my new Invasion map. The only problem is, sometimes the bomb carrier falls to their death and the bomb falls with them. Then it doesn't respawn. From what I've gathered, adjusting the "Core Respawn Time" knob in the gametype menu only customizes the respawn time WHEN AN ENEMY IS STANDING OVER THE FLAG. If the player fell to their death, then anyone who might try to go after the bomb will fall to their death, too.

Is there any way to make a bomb respawn in an Invasion gametype by itself or do I just have to change the objective type to territories or something?

If the bomb falls into a kill zone it should respawn. Are you killing the spartans just by a long fall or by making them fall into a kill zone?

    Killzone should do the trick.

The spartans died by falling into a killzone, though the killzone is more of a "kill wall" to the humans falling through. So the bomb doesn't directly fall into a kill zone, but I didn't think I needed to set a kill zone down because it falls down the cliff into the water between the Montana and Alaska regions, which naturally kills players. Let me attempt to illustrate.

    (Montana)*******************(Bridge)**********************(Alaska)

    1. Ditch the map. We don't need another montaska bridge map.
    2. Just change the "bottom" setting for the killzone to the max value and it should make the skull/bomb/whatever respawn.

I would, but I've already spent too much time into it. I'll try to make this one worth your while, sir.

I'll try it out and let you know if it works.

Edit: It doesn't work! :( Once the bomb drops to the bottom, its waypoint starts to flash but it doesn't do anything.

I applaud your illustration, the time and effort of typing that correctly shows dedication, lol.

Unfortunately I do not know anything about invasion.
