wow, that is pretty good! are you going to add to it to make it look more realistic, or keep the cartoonish look?
Thanks; I think I'm gonna keep the cartoonish look because the Halo emblems look kinda stupid with a gritty, realistic look and changing the lighting to support that can be a bit of a *****. Just a normal Youtube intro to put before all of my videos.
I do understand that, I just dont understand why you used Portal and Halo icons. Is your channel featuring content from both? The intro should reflect the person and the channel. EDIT: Not to say I don't like it, which I very much do.
Damn, that is nice! I do agree with audienceofone, if it's only because you like both things then maybe it's not the best idea... however if your channel is for a bunch of different games, then it's perfect! I specially loved the Superintendent sound at the end.
Thanks for the comments guys I plan on doing multiple games, but only have Halo at the moment. Once some new games come out I'll probably try some commentaries on them and the games that I cover will be a bit more diversified.
PC Portal 2 has custom test chambers. You could give that a shot. Some really great ones are out these, I would recommend the Angry tests.
I would, but I'm pretty sure that I can only record PC footage on a desktop using my PVR, but I only own laptops that aren't compatible. :/ Also, would it look better if I replaced one cube with a creeper?
The cubes start appearing next to the spartan helmet not from it which ruins the illusion of the items disintegrating for me. I dunno if that's the intent or purpose but that's just my 2 cents. Looks hard to make non the less.
Oh wow, everyone I showed and myself didn't even notice that. I think I've fixed that by resizing the helmet. Also, creeper...or no creeper? That is the question.
I think the Halo helm should be in the center, the creeper would be a nice add too. I do however think only icons of games you intend to feature in the channel should be included.
I like it, until it turns around. I think it should break apart and you introduce your name some way else. Also, it feels too long, IMO.
I think it would be better if "Loscocco" was made out of the items, and then it melted and re-assembled as your normal name, rotated quickly, and then swooshed out.
