Thread Title: MACH SNELL Map Name: Mach Snell Canvas Map: Forge World Creator Name(s): SpeedBird21 Last Updated: 7/12/2012 Player Count: 2-8 Recommended Gametypes: MLG, Slayer Supported Gametypes: Slayer Mach Snell is a map specificily designed for 1v1 FHSmackdown. It can be retrofitted to support up to 8 players with addition respawn points, and different timers on power weapons. Map features a man cannon to Sniper, Suicide bridge, Rocket and Shotgun. The reason for two power weapons is off the break you either grab Rockets and Camo with a lower position, or rush snipe with a top position. I made Rockets spawn sooner then Sniper to promote lower level activity and prevent top tier positioning. NOTE: I lowered the snipe landing by 6 units so its not as high a position. In addition, added a Hologram in the middle and sprint by shotgun. I also added PLASMA BATTERIES to the snipe landing to really make it unadvised to stay there more than 10 seconds. Spawn Times: Snipe: 180 x 0 spare Rocket: 160 x 0 spare Shotgun: 140 x 0 spare Hologram: 120 Sprint: 120 Download: MACH SNELL Other Map: Vapor Lock QUESTIONS: Is it bad to use plasma batteries over fusion coils?
You posted this in the TG. basketskate asked me to test it with him. I'm sorry to say but it wasn't that good. Too many power weapons and awful design caused flow to center around the platform where the sniper is (i think). Of course basketskate will go into detail, but for me it wasn't very good.
Lol rockets in 1v1, but I'll give it a download, and probably reply in the future with more feedback for you.
