*THIS MAP HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM MY FILE SHARE, DOWNLOAD LINK NOT AVAILABLE* Drone If you like small, room to room based maps, here's one for you. Drone was a project I finished finished very quickly, I learned lots from it and I think it still plays as a pretty decent infection map. I thought I would post it for other infection lovers to check out. The map is all close quarters. I wanted to try creating a small playspace for hectic gameplay, while still having lots of spare room to spawn and free roam. There are weapons on the map, so you will have to find ammunition. To me, it makes the game more intense. While making the rooms, I decided on a covenant/purple theme early in. Check out the pics. Screenshots:
Jesus you pump out these maps! Regardless, this is another Infection gem. The design is simplistic and kind on the eye, your choice of pieces allow the map to perform brilliantly while still looking great. The covenant crate aesthetics add a nice back story to the map which fills in what would be bland corners. The layout of this map is also great, it is quite large, which keeps game play fresh. However I never found myself lost because each room is completely unique. I always knew where I was while playing this map. I love you forging style Paints. Keep up the good work.
Great job Paints! Just like Elliot, I really like this map. The looks are gorgeous, everything connects together, yet all the rooms have a different set-up. The fact that everything is indoors makes it even better, I love that style of Infection forging and it's a shame I could only release one map that features that style so far. (Lone Souls in a Lost Mine.) The only time I played this map with you so far there didn't seem to be any issues whatsoever, and I really liked it. I did worry about the fast zombies, but obviously that has to do with the gametype. About that, which gametype do you recommend to use on this map? Regular AZ with weapon pick up enabled? Or maybe a slightly altered gamemode where zombies are slower? I didn't read anything about that in the text. (Except for the weapons on the map part.)
