Novus is a semi-symmetrical objective-focused map created for both symmetrical and asymmetrical gametypes. The middle atrium area is symmetrical while the areas on the either side of it are asymmetrical. In one-flag and one-bomb you play from one end of the atrium to the other, while in symmetrical gametypes (plus Slayer, Oddball and KotH) you play from one of the previously mentioned asymmetrical side areas to the other. This means that the map plays completely different depending on the gametype. Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress so things are subject to change. :)

    Weapons:
    1 Sniper Rifle (120s)
    1 Grenade Launcher (90s)
1 Rocket Launcher (180s) (Only in symmetrical gametypes and Slayer)
    4 DMRs
    2 Needle Rifles
    1 Plasma Rifle
    1 Assault Rifle
    2 Pistols
    1 Plasma Pistol
    3 Plasma Grenades
    1 Frag Grenade
    1 Active Camo (90s)

I think I played this a while back as a 3v3 (or 4v4, cannot remember). Whatever we played the map seemed too big for the amount of people. I could grab the flag and by the time I would even see the enemies I was half way to my capture point. Other than that I found the structures interesting and fun to play on, a great build. Invite me to more testing and I can give better feedback (twas a while since I played here).

    It's definitely not a 3v3 map, more of a 5v5 one.
Also, did we play one-flag? Because I've switched around the capture point and flag position a while ago. Makes it play completely different.

I think it was 2flag. Though like I said, it's been a while. What I remember may not be how it is now. If I get a game on this version I'll be sure to provide better feedback.

Nice map. I think you could even go 6 on 6 in here, almost all battles are going to be close range. I love the blue base cathedral looking aesthetic as well as the gun placement throughout; they are hard to miss. I just have one question, A rocket launcher with 8 shots? red is at a slight advantage there don't you think?

The Rocket Launcher only has 4 shots in it but there's 2 Launchers stacked on top of each other in Forge set up for different gametypes.

Whoa, Overdoziz busting out a map? Who would have thought. Looks sweet man, I wish I was around to play it. Some of the LoS look a little too open. Not too long mind you, but open without anything to break them up. Pictures 4 and 5 are the ones I'm referring to here.

I'm also not sure how pictures 2 and 3 sync up with the rest of the map- might wanna have some angles that clarify that.
