Forge Map Making Contest

I have lots of Halo 3 Lan Parties at my house, and I'm getting bored of the same couple of maps.

I would like new maps that are good for 12~16 people.

I had two maps in mind.

First, a Tower of Power map. This map would most likely be created on Foundry. There would be a large tower on the empty side, and a few places to hide behind getting there. (not much because the turret on the tower must be able to have a significant power in the map)

I had a very rough sketch made up, the links below will lead u to them.

The sketches above are just examples of what I have in mind, of course a lot of thought and landscaping needs to go into this map.

Next, I was thinking of a map specifically for using random weapons. This would be FFA and Team Slayer on random weapons. I have checked out a lot of maps, I use some of them on Random weapons, but none are quite large enough for 12+ players. This needs to be a mid sized to large map with nice scenery placement. The map needs little to no weapon placement, because of the fact that all players will start with a primary and secondary weapon at random.

Well, its about making a competitive map :O

 

Well, Im trying to think of a prize i could give out, but none have come to mind that i could actually give someone on line or on xbl.

I have checked out your maps and im very impressed. We played your maps for a good 2hours + last lan party.

They have great game play, but im looking more for a map and game type that you could play for hours on end because of the limitless possibilities of what you can do, or the strategies that can be used to defeat the opposing team.
