I was looking at one of REMkings maps that he was working on the other day, and I noticed that when I broke the Covenant Barriers, they turned grey, then purple, then grey again. It keeps on doing this, and at first I thought their was something wrong with my T.V., then I asked REMkings to look at it, and the same thing happened for him. This is just a small glitch that was pretty cool, and I thought I would share it with you guys!
No it does not happen every time I've never seen it and I used broken vogue barriers in aesthetic maps all the time (usually for flickering lights)
lols why don't u just take mah word bro?! Well Beybok I guess we gotta open up the map again, because I didn't save that particular file of me forging that particular area on that particular map of mine. And I don't think you did.
Why would I lie about something like this? What do you think I hoped to achieve by starting a thread about something fake? It's real. Just go onto forge world, break the covenant barriers, and parts of it will turn grey.
I've broken covenant barriers before and nothing noteworthy happens. I ask that about other people all the time. Anyway it's pretty hard to figure out what is actually happening from the description "it turns gray"
Pretty much it keeps turning from purple to gray, then back to purple, then to gray again, etc. Only by taking multiple pictures it could be shown with screenshots, so it's probably better to make a short videoclip - but then we would need someone with a capture card to do that.
So wait, is there a particular way you broke said barrier? Was it phased into anything? Or was it placed normally? Sorry for being so questioning, but I have broken thousands of covenant barriers for previous maps I have forged and have yet to see them have any effect like this.
Yes it was broken. You simply melee and shoot it until it starts to collapse. And no it's just placed normally
You know what guys? I'll just proof it to you all whenever we're playing a game on Deadborough again! Then I can also take some screenshots to put on ForgeHub.
