Hey everyone, havnt really posted anything on here for awhile, so i thought i might post the latest video of mine about the map vehicle control. This video is an overview which is basicly a video that gets people exited about the map, shows some nice gameplay, and some editing from me. Overall a pretty good map. However, the barracks with the turret, as well as the rocks sticking out from the walls seem kind of random. (Though I can understand if the rocks are meant to add to the theme of the map.) Also, there seems to be a lack of cover for infantry, which should probably be fixed, even though your map is called "Vehicle Control". How many times did you test this map yet? Finally, probably try to improve your spelling a little bit. I'm Dutch, and I make less mistakes than you.
You seemed to design the map FOR vehicles which is something I try to avoid because it cause unbalance between vehicles and infantry. As for the. Video ...the music ruined it all for me.
Yeah just vehicle aimed maps are ususly very unbalanced unless there's loads of lasers etc, the video i loved, especially the still shots it was very affective the only thing I didn't like was the music, dubstep and halo videos just don't go tbh but the video it's self was good
I think I may be the only one to like the video and the music with it, that being said I agree with REM, it didn't seem like the infantry players had anywhere to hideout to keep from being vehicularly molested the entire game, but I can see how its understandable since the map is based around hog potato and vehicle king of the hill. I look forward to the coming tweaks and changes to the map followed by a well received release
thanks for your opinion. i think that since a lot of people are saying first off that there will be a lot of molesting from vehicles, thats my reason of adding turrets. i have tested this map way too many times and from what i can say, the only problem i forsee with the map is vehicle spawning. there has seemed to be a glitch when vehicles are destryed on top of their spawn they do not spawn back. the way i found to fix it a little is with a bigger lobby. for more protection for humans, the tunnels have different "hole" sort of things to be protected by. The gametype hog potato uses the correct armor abilities for vehicle based games such as armor lock and evade. lastly there are multiple power weapons such as the spartan laser, rocket, energy sword, and 4 turrets. i also think that the map is supposted to be a little hectic since there are 4 teams. i have tested this out many times and this is my 4th map design and i think i will stay with it. i will also make a comm. today and post it here to stop some other worries. hope this lessened all of your worries [br][/br]Edited by merge: and for all of you who dont lke the dubstep i am very sorry but it seems to match for halo to me and it is a very good music to use for editing stuff and matching gameplay in my prospective. and it seems more youtubers such as amazinghaloreachforges, mr robato, insamiac ect are using it to their advantage. sorry once again if the music bottered any of you
