Shame fileshare/screenshots is down... Would really like to update the screens to reflect the latest version of this. :/ I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable that game of 1-flag was. Very fun and fast paced. I feel the teleporter is a nescecity because of the length of the map and the degree of exposure when crossing from green side to gold. And as the exit node for the tele is in a position where some one could see the entry node, getting caught with your pants down by a guy going tele shouldn't be a major issue. But, to each his own eh. And I love being a douche. Really happy you like this one Saddo.
You can't see the entry teleporter from where the exit teleporter is though? I also like this map, it's just lacking.. something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just doesn't feel like it performs as best it could. Who knows, maybe it was just because I didn't have any armour abilities on as standard and it made the game feel slow?

This looks really fun to play on, and very balanced. That bottom lift area reminds me of construct, but the rest of the map seems completely original and flows very well for gameplay. Nothins wrong with taking it with your camera phone, as long as the community has a good look at what you're going for. Better than no pics at all and wasting your time to find out its a horrible map.

This looks interesting. I'm no tryhard, but I did love Construct. It was one of my favorites from Halo 3 as well. I think this map is more like Epitaph though. And whats up with the stupid jet packs on the ground?
I said the same thing about it's resemblance to Epitaph. It's the outside walkways that do it. Not much else reminds me of Construct other than the 3 lifts. Why are jet packs stupid? He can put whatever he wants on his map and the jet packs actually do serve a purpose, especially since his target audience is/are MLG players and gametypes. Good map Schnitzel. KotH definitely plays well, but what about having 3 neutral hills instead of 1 neutral and 2 red and blue hills? Have you tried 1 at top gold, 1 at top green and 1 somewhere in between?, like at Rocks?
This is the standard hill style utilized by MLG, and the style I prefer as well. Technically, as spawns are asymmetrical on the map, the hills are all neutral... BTW; Trailer up by Prince Forge Universal: Orion (Map teaser trailer) - YouTube
I've played on this map a few times and it's been pretty good to me. It flows well which is always a plus for me. It's not hard to get anywhere that is. Not much I would change. How did you decide to put the flag where it is now, as opposed to the opposite side where the return is?
@Ares: I thought a uphill battle to get to the flag would be more appealing than a downhill one. Top gold just looked like a more logical spot. Harder to defend than greenside, but gives more options to the attackers as well. @Oli: Video looks great man. Thanks!
