Hello, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum but I couldn't find a better one. I basically have a map that I'm going to post. I don't know whether I should put it in the Casual or Competitive map sections. Slayer and CTF gametypes apply to it. I'm not sure because it is possible to grenade jump out, although there is no real gain or purpose in doing so. I've also put teleporters outside, so the map can be re-entered. Anyway, does the honor rule mean simply that the map must be impossible to get out of?
Probably competitive, but I'd have to see the map post. Honour rule free means impossible to get out of, but if it is difficult during gameplay then the there would be some element of honour rules, but probably be OK. If you can improve it I'd recommend you do, but don't worry too much.
Ok, thanks very much I worked hard to make it difficult to get out, but ran out of objects that wouldn't really be a bad idea to use.
If it's a game where it's *possible* to get out, but it'd be at least a little difficult in doing so, then it's not an honor ruled game. Now, if it was something like soccer where you had to individually keep track of the score, now that's an honor rule.
An honor rule is basically any rule applied to a gametype that can't be set in the custom settings. For instance, if you are playing a game, and the party leader says that there is no going into a certain place, that is an honor rule. Usually, people try to use as little honor rules as they can. Block places you don't want people going into, and try to perfect the gametype so it is honor rule free.
