Hey everyone. Just thought I would let everyone know that I will be hosting a Community Playdate this friday, 5/18/2012. We will be using ForgeHub Featured Maps, so it's sure to be a blast. It's been too long since I've had a good round of customs on finished maps; count me in! I'll send you a FR in a couple of minutes if I get the chance. We never got those games in...not like the outcome was in doubt anyway, congrats on the win...but I was still looking forward to playing against you guys anyway. Well, hopefully that's about to change! On a another side note, I read the thread on Waypoint and would like to ask, what kind of games will we be playing? By this I mean will it be BTB, Structured 4v4, Minigames, or a combination depending on turnout? Just curious.
Hey! I accepted your FR. Yes! We were scheduled to play. I thought I remembered you from somewhere! Unfortunately my teammate will be busy that night and unable to attend the event, but I'll be there As for the games, it's going to be a mix depending on the size of the party. We'll start things out in FFA for the soft-opening and probably the first match to make sure we get a good party started, and get a decent feel for everyone's skills so we can make somewhat balanced teams. After that, it's mostly going to depend on party size. If we get a chance, we'll run 4v4's, but I sense that a lot of the night will be 5v5's and BTB. Minigames will be thrown in to give everyone a good break. I'd say that 4v4's are more going to be around the start and end of the night, and perhaps a few thrown in if people dip out for a bit.

Yeah let me know of any hidden gems you've run into FrozenGoatHead. I've gone through the FHF maps, so now I'm trying to add in some extras. Soft-join starts at 5:30pm EST. It is an open-party FFA to just have people join in. The actual games start at 6:00pm EST, and will run until 10:00pm EST. After that, whoever is left over is welcome to join in on some Matchmaking and perhaps some other customs.
