Sorry if this isn't the proper topic page for this, but I'm bored out of my mind. Need something new to do. I've been pumping out a new map almost every night for the past week and I'm fresh out of ideas.
If anybody has any good suggestions for an RPG to try, I'd be grateful.
    MMO is optional but preferable.
Free is optional, but extremely preferable.

(If anybody would like to try out any of my new maps, please send me a message on xbox live. They're mostly competitive.)

On the free route, I'd suggest looking up some roguelikes, such as Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. They'd provide some easy fun, and they're free.

On the free spectrum of things, you aren't going to find any fleshed out games, unless they're FTP MMOs.

If you don't mind the MMO route, you could check out Star Trek Online, LOTR Online, and Warcraft is free to play until, I think, level 20.

Outside the MMO route, there isn't an awful lot of freeware RPG's.

Finally, Fallout was free on GoG.com there a while ago, but I think that was only for a weekend. :/
I got it while it was free though, totally worth it.

Speaking of Gog.com, you could head there if you didn't mind dropping some cash. They have a **** tonne of great RPG's, and they're all pretty cheap, not to mention being DRM free.

    Face Of Mankind.

    faceofmankind.com

    It's a Player-Driven Economy Basede Sci-Fi MMOTPSRPG.

If it wasn't basically dead, it'd be the most awesome MMO out there. Try it out, there is a free account but the premium lets you do lots of other stuff. It's not as bad as Free To Play, Pay To Win; You can still do lots of stuff with the free account.

Looks like this site's full of cheap goodies. Thanks for the link.

Looks interesting. Don't really like the fact that it's "basically dead" and has the option of buying stuff. Makes the game pretty unbalanced if you don't like dishing out money for a game.

~Thanks for not lettin' me down FH. <3

Used to play it, but it got boring because there were way too many bots.
I heard they took them out a while ago, but I'm still not motivated to play it again.

I'm in the same boat; I forced myself to give it a try last week and there's so much that's changed.. Skills seem almost pointless to get to 99 now, because they made it 15x easier to level them (ie, smithing - they added a "minigame" that rewards 5x+10% for making a specific armour piece, and you can't sell what you make).

New accounts get members for two weeks though, but on the flipside the tutorial is too damn long, it tells you how to do every skill save dungeoneering.

That seems to be the way things go these days.
Everything from bands to video games; starts out great, then kinda goes into a nosedive.
