hi everyone, i got bad news.... well it is for me but im not going to be making the 'Presidential Map Pack' due to time etc..... BUT i might just might make it on Halo 4, depending on if i can make the same or similar game type on it. so yeah but i will be finishing off the maps atm; Pipe-Line Marines vs Flood (name atm) and a few other maps that i havent revealed yet!! so thats the latest from me, if you guys REALY want me to make the Presidential map pack then leave a comment saying something like MAKE IT i will make the map pack if i get at least 20 people say it but otherwise i wont. so yeah thats it atm, i dunno if this will be the last maps i ever forge on reach and i post on here i just dont know yet but we will see thanks for reading and bye
This thread is pretty pointless man. Not trying to be a ****, but was there really a need to tell the community this considering 90% of the members will not care. If you want to finish them, then finish them. I don't recommend releasing them right after the blackout though because they'll be lost in the flood of maps that's sure to come, lol.
yeah but i dont care if no one reads it i can put this thread out if i want. and yeah i know thats why i released the third map pack a couple of weeks ago first and then ill release an updated version when the fileshares are back up and running
^this the blackout works against everything even well after they are back up. However it almost works in our favor.this forces people to ...wait for it... "spend time and test their maps"
QF-****ing-T People make maps for fun, that's what I do. If you wanna make the maps just for fun, go for it. Because odds are, NO ONE is gonna care if you tell the community that you want them all to play the maps.

i didnt say i want all players to play my maps, im just saying that i make maps for people that like to play custom maps, and i do get some fun out of making them, but because im very busy theres no point in me making the map pack if no one is going to play it because ill waste 10 or so hours on making a map and i delete all maps that i dont use etc so itll just end up being deleted so in the end there would be no point in me making it..... i know what i mean anyway
Why rely on hoping people download and play the map in their lobbies? Get friends who play customs regularly and play your maps with them. No one is going to beg you to make a map; you have to want to do that on your own, bub.
yeah i know that is true, but well none of me friends play reach any more so i cant play custom games realy :/ but i just want to try and make a map that everyone or alot of people would like, whats the chance of me making that sort of map!!! so u know :/ and i do want to make maps but im realy busy atm thas why i said if anyone does want me to mkae the map pack i will try and find time for it but if not then ill make it in halo 4 if i can, if u get what im saying
Being a grammar ****, i would kill to make light of the above post. Alas, i am on my phone. All grammar rights have been taken away from me. A diety stripped of his supreme powers, a man unto divinity I have a question; do YOU love your project? Because if you, other people will as well. And then you have a popular idea, and should finish it. Thats how the world works. Cool, right?
Guys, I think you're all missing a golden opportunity here. We should all ask him to make the map, then not download it because of the inconvenience of the blackout. Come on everybody! MAKE THE MAP! MAKE THE MAP! MAKE THE MAP!
i love my map pack project atm yes but ahhh dw and no because i just wont take ur vote into concideration but nice try ;P
I find it kind of funny that a post like this has more comments and notoriety than an actual map preview. Though unless you're really well known around the site, people aren't really going to care whether or not you release a map. Spend some time making maps; see if you can get people to really like your work. (And, if you are going to post something like this I'd suggest a different approach. Instead of saying "I'll make it if at least 20 people want me to", explain the ideas and ask if people would like to see you follow through with them.)
Eff this pity party. Either make the map, or don't. We all deal with the same problems with getting our stuff noticed.
