    Infiltration Act 1 & Act 2

    DON'T HATE ON MY PICS PLEASE. BUNGIE.NET IS NO MORE SO I GOT CRAFTY :)

    This is the first linear infection map of the series that I plan on making. It is unfortunate that the download links aren't going to work but if you search on xbox the map and gametype are on my file share.

    map: Inf_11 Infiltration Act 1 & Inf_12 Infiltration Act 2
    gametype: Inf_10,11,12 Type v2
    -humans move at 75% normal speed and have no radar
    -weapons are on the map
    -the gametype makes zombies hit humans three to kill them
    -zombies have teleporter spawns that are not campable
    -custom powerup for zombies makes them move at 90% speed with 500% health and can kill humans in 2 hits

    This video should explain everything and there are pictures below. Please tell me what you think, good or bad :)

    Gold = alpha zombie (unlimited sprint)
    Brown = child zombie (limited sprint)
    White = tank zombie caused by custom powerup (500% health, 90% movement speed)

    I can't really load the video due by my new laptop can't be bothered to buffer the video. But I can tell with the screenshots that it looks like a good map to play on. I liked when you sort of described the gametype like the zombies have to hit the survivior twice before he/she gets infected. Like the CoD WaW/BlackOp zombies mode. Wait it's loaded now. I liked the idea when the brain eating zombies can't be spawned killed by the survivors. Can't wait for the Act: II to come to ForgeHub in the sewers. The thing you should've done is put everyones GamerTag as much as you can in the descriction of the map. Cause there the people who tested and played on your map. You've done a great job of making Act: I of the map and again can't wait for Act: II. - EpICx ReMiX XD

    this map looks great oomishday. really love that you used that tunnel under the mountain because most forgers usually ignore that tunnel because it is hard to build around. from the video i can say that the map look great and that i like how you made the zombies drop down from the roof which make players really be aware of whats around them. I also like you inclusion of colours because i am tired of plainn old gray infection maps and by adding colours it will also give players a good idea of where they are and how much farther they have to go to get to the final holdout. I myself have not heard of that sheild door trick/glitch it looks very interesting i will be sure to look into it for future maps. lastly it is good to see more linear infection maps because lately i have seen so many holdout ones and i am getting bored of them. great job oomish i will be sure to give this a DL.

    and its good to see people taking photos with a camera, the quality may not be the best but it still works and helps us get an idea of what the map looks like.

    Hey ya this is good saw it on your channel as well :) I've started a campaign the other day and I've just about finished the first part (need boundaries, more spawns ,camera,testing) but I'm very glad with what I have so far I'll send u a pm for future plans pm me back if you want a little preview :3

    thanks for appreciate my effort with the pictures lol. with bnet down i was like "OH NO!!" but i was determined to get pictures and post this map :) thanks for loving the colors.

    i started building that map at the tunnel under paradiso, i've never seen a map that used it like that. my new love is linear infection maps so i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one that likes them. Thanks for commenting!

    No problem, and if you want we could do a co-forged linear infection map. I would love to have someone to forge with because lately my friends are to busy making there own maps or working on machinimas :( ya so if you interested in doing a co-forge message me on live or on FH. Plus I like t you style of forging and it seems you might have a few tricks up you sleeve.

    you could help me with Infiltration Act 2 if you want, send me a message on xbox live. it is mostly done but you could help still. the video only showed the first part because i knew i would end up changing a lot. again, send me a message on xbox live and i'll invite you some time and i'll give you credit on the final project if you're constructive :)

    Let me guess: You took pics with a camera because of the b.net issue. No worries, its fine for now. It looks nice, although there's not much I have to say for it. I really like the look of the last pic. I'll give this a DL when I finally want to get on Reach again. Neat job!

    This map is awesome. I love how you used the tunnel to forge around with, it's a difficult spot to fit into a custom map but you did a great job by successfully trying, one of the reasons being that you used those shiny color effects again. I have to say that I really like that, because other than that it's just very original and differs from most other Linear maps, it also gives you that strange relaxing feeling instead of the usual competitive mood people have when playing Matchmaking. The fact that you have this act end at the sewers and have the second part continue at the very same spot, is another original feature and I really like that as well.
    On top of the things above, some more good things map about this map are that the weapons are balanced and don't make it too hard for the zombies / too easy for the humans, and the outstanding aesthetics such as Excalibur in the rock, the great use of Alpha Zombies and Custom Gametypes, and the good spawning system for zombies.
    So, a great job, and keep making those awesome Infection maps! :D

    Those pics look like Roxio to me...

    And the map looks good. I'm pretty sure I was there when you played it.

    They are Roxio pics (man i'm cheap) and i don't remember if you played an actual matchof this with me but I remember you and AIDS and someone else killing and betraying a lot in it's earliest stage. i love your maps, ZIP ZAP MLG BOSS PRO 360 SINPES ZOP, especially the looks of "The Event" even though I don't think it's completely done or at least I haven't played it. Thanks for taking a look :D

    lool these quality pics are the future of forge hub ;P lol no it looks a very good map i like it that you have lots of differant levels, so you have to go down that hole to get to the next bit, it makes it a lot more real and i cant wait to play :p

    Adding the vault in this map makes it golden all the little details make it a good map.

    This looks pretty rad. The sewers are pretty spot on and I like that you have this divided into two acts. You make great linear maps every time, really solid holdout areas. I have an idea for a new map, but I don't have a clue how to make it into something linear that flows. Message me up on Xbox Live sometime later this week if you are interested in my idea.

    interesting, very quality, best looking part of this map is the rock/sword and the drop off into the sewers. nice way you did the "rainbow" tunnel, and there is nothing too big or too fancy in this map which i like. only thing that looks weird to me is the beginning part where there is a 4v4 larger corner piece thats colored blue, could almost just remove that and it would look less "out of place". but yeah mad props.

    edit: the screenshots dont do this map justice! gadda watch the video lol

    I put that piece at the beginning solely to have a color catch your eye because the whole map has a color scheme to it. It looks out of place a bit, I agree, but it has a purpose :) Glad you like the video too.

    I also agree that the sword in the stone is really cool looking and it's the loadout camera. (aDamnCivilian made the sword in the stone and came up with the bubble shield idea for each holdout area, gotta give him credit.)

    Since bnet is dead feel free to keep up to date on my youtube channel for Act 2 of this or message me on here or xbox live if you want to help test it. thanks for checking this out brah

    I really like the map even if I don't usually like colorful infection maps this one kinda has a specific feel to it, overall it looks like a great linear map, enough so that it made me get on halo and download it. Just wish I could get a party together to play on it though.

    You know, to be honest I thought the idea of this sounded dumb. (oh look its another zombie map that takes place in the sewers...) But you did such a good job making the gameplay work. It's a sewer infection map with good gameplay! Way more balanced than Act 1:the sewers left for dead map. You really know the science of a good linear map. And yeah your right, we need to make a map. just needa find some time to play my xbox a little more.
