Infected Subway

    [Sup]1[/sup] Congratulations! You found a corpse trying to eat you! Just kidding, well... actually you might find one on here. Check it out!



    My second Infected Map.. Infected Subway. Rules.. use and infected gametype but works good with infected subway. Props to Oakley HiDef for this gametype which is raptors just with some changes for it to work better with my map. Thxs man.

    You start in the main lobby and that connects to the ticket room, that connects to the security hallway and that connects to the subway. No barriers you can get from one side to the other under 30secs at anytime. Infected have 3 teleporters that respawn them on the top of the main lobby, the elevator shaft in the ticket room and another elevator shaft in the subway and the 1st one takes 10sec, 2d one 20sec and the 3rd 30secs. Hope you enjoy!

    Clean forging, this map looks great. The tight corners combined with this filter makes it look like a really terrifying map.
    I couldn't really tell the whole lay-out of the map from the pictures, but I will check this out soon enough and hopefully get some fun and intense custom games going on it.

    Looks very nicely forged, but altough you have posted much pictures, i cant really get the layout of the map, but i love the lighting you used, and the aesthetics.
    I will DL this to get an better look.

    I'm extremely jealous of this maps idea, I've wanted to create a subway map for a while now. I think I might still, but add a few features into it that wld allow it have a fun feel to it, but a magician never reveals his secrets:) overall rly good display of your forge talent with the pathway and connection to each room! Props

    Well done. Even with my small group of friends, we had a blast on this map. We used Alpha Zombies, so we don't know if the weapon placement is well or not, sorry to say.

    The detail in the map in general is actually quite impressive, although a few key points could use a touch up, if you have the budget. I even caught one of my friends actually looking at some of the architecture during gameplay(He died, shortly thereafter, by my undead hands).

    In short, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful job.

    Thanks everyone! I'm really glad you guys like it and even more knowing it plays good. If you do see anything that could be fixed please tell me and ill see what I can do. Again thxs for the comments and ill try to make some more cool infected maps :)

    I played this in a BIOC lobby with REMkings and the only thing I didn't like was the final spot in the train for camping, it was tough for the zombies to get in there and they just kept getting raped... it looks beautiful and plays pretty well though. overall i thought it was a really nice map :)

    Are you sure you didn't play this one with Redy? I can't remember playing on it, although I still want to.
    not trying to bump there, just trying to clear something up that concerns this map and BIOC

    it must've been with redy after you left the BIOC lobby, my mistake. see, BIOC is good because i get to play maps like this :3

I think a good way too fix that without having to take away the train would to make it where the weapons only respawn once with low ammo maybe let the weapons in the ticket room respawne every 120secs. If you think that might work better or if you had something else in mind. Thx for the feedback.

    cleanly forged, unfortunately once again i must say the pictures do not tell a full story, i hope i can test this soon but from what i can tell from the brief description and the pictures the map looks really nice, the aestetics are all smooth and nicly forged, very professional, the fact the you can get through the whole map fast is good, my one concern is that if the map is linear then this might cause camping (strategic positioning) now i may be wrong on that last quote if indeed the teleporters work like you say they do. again thought this map is startong to look like a journey map instead of freeroam linear. which is a bit confusing. also glad to see a nice use of color effects, most color effects screw up the entire map which is horrible for a map, i've seen great maps ruined by color effects, and the way you use color effects makes the map much better. i do like how you color coded the teleporters but i still don't get what you mean by, by spawn at #s, it doesn't make sense, do the teleporters have recievers randomly all over the map or are they specifically placed in a journey map fashion? i don't know. and like oomishday said the train looks like a one way entrance camping spot, might want to fix that, but if this is an old version and the one on your fileshare you told REMkings about has these concerns fixed, i know this sounds like a lot but it's just a few concernc, overall sweet looking map that has great design but maybe confusing type of layput (linear or free roam) and a bit of teleporter confusion and camping,
