    Updated Map: Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Details

    This is Mad Professor an Infection Map. Infection side has teleporters that respawn in 20 secs to give the humans a chance to get there s*** together before they start coming from every direction. Hope you enjoy it and give some feedback if I should fix anything. Thxs.

    nice job on this map. the map definitely has good geometry and feels like a real infection map. any one way entrances appear to be short and not campable and the crates add lots of cover. my one problem is if the theme is infection why is the map so bright and colorful?

    Thanks man but for some reason the pictures made it look more brighter, it's really not that bright when your playing and for me it made it feel more like a laboratory. You can always change it if you wanted too.

    This map looks great, you have some cool, interesting aesthetics going on which will keep the humans interested. The lights give the map a really spooky look. It reminds me of portions of the 'Five' zombies map on Black ops. I'm guessing those one way shield doors have the receiver nodes behind them? If so, this is a really good way of getting the zombies into the map because they can choose where to 'spawn' in the map. If spawn points are directly used on the map, the zombies will always spawn as far away from the survivors which makes it a lot easier for them. I use this in my Pandora's Fear map and it is really effective.

    Thanks dude, glad you like it. To bad we didn't get a chance to testmy infected subway at the bioc lobby but yeah there are 3 receiving nodes for the infected to come from, that are protected by the one way shields and each one is labled alpha, bravo, and charlie so the infected can choose which way to come from.     When you say the teleporters respawn every 20 seconds do you mean that they appear for a limited amount of time, then reappear after 20 seconds? Thats a sick idea, that creates rounds within rounds. (Infection?)

    I am impressed with this map. Very good aesthetics. You've definitely captured the laboratory theme. You should submit this to BIOC, it looks like a gem.

    It would be a sick idea, indeed, but I heavily doubt that he meant to say that, since - as far as I know - it's impossible to pull off. (Unless you would be using an ingenious system of dies that drop on the receivers, for instance, but it's very hard to create such a construction for real and most of the time it will look dull or awkward anyway.)
    He probably meant to say that there spawns an extra teleporter every 20 seconds, but I'm not sure about that.
    If you DID make them reappear, then you have to teach me how you did it cause that would be awesome: I can imagine it would be theoretically possible with those dies but it would be much better if there's another, smoother way.

    Anyway, this map looks definitely great, I will try and play on it myself soon, along with your other maps, Last Stand and Infected Subway. Keep up the good work!

    It doesn't really matter that the teleporters don't spawn in like the way I described it, the map is overall a great job. I know that sounded a little advanced I was just curious to see if you had figured out a way to make the teleporters disappear then reappear.

    i like the boxy close feel to this map, seems like the humans would have a hard time surviving, which is a good thing just means you gadda hold down a room and work together. cool map

    Sry everybody for getting back so late, I was out of town with no internet but I was able to update that map a little for example some of the weapons didn't get changed to low ammo ect. The teleporters appear 20sec after the game starts to give the humans a chance to get ready and they stay on, nothing fancy but that was a very cool idea. Thanks for all the feedback and I would love to know how it plays.

    THANK YOU FOR THIS MAP. I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT LOVED COLORFUL MAPS. haha but seriously, im not very active on forge hub and i was drawn to this because it's infection and colorful. i feel like infection maps should be 50% awesome gameplay and 50% awesome aesthetics/level design. I know gameplay is the most important thing about a map but i remember images more often than "oh yeah, and then i got a killing frenzy." this looks pretty awesome :)

    PS the operating table with the bottom of antennas used for shackles/restraints with the other antenna as a surgical tool looks pretty sick too

    lol Thanks again oomishday3 but yea dude you not alone, because in the end your still fighting to survive. Thanxs for the feedback and I hope it play's well.. if not just let know and i'll try my best to fix it.
