    Resistance In A Infected City V2

    First off, I would like to thank REMkings for tons of feedback and help on this map

    This map is a second version of Resistance In A Infected city. It is by far my best map yet and I've spent a lot of time testing then tweaking then testing again then tweaking again ect... Until finally, Ta-Da! here it is, the fully improved, totally awesome, extremely kick-butt, Version 2.

    Anyway, enough of my gloating about how awesome my map is. Here are some pics:

    Looks like a pretty cool infection map. I really like the destruction in the second photo especially, it makes it feel like a truly abandoned or destroyed city nice job on that. But some of the rocks on the buildings look a bit awkward but that may just be me. It looks like a ton of fun. +1 DL

    Beybok, this is really an great map, and i played with you on it i dont now if you remember that, ive got really nothing to mention but one thing : the gametype (when you played with me)

    the infected were invisible and the humans had pointers above their heads and no radars, that really ruined it for me at the time, so my qeustion is : is the gametype changed? because i didnt like it so much, without radars is ok but invisible and pointers.. but man its an awesome map i tell you :)

    and i agree with DethofHumanity some of the rocks look an bit akward on the buildings. But whatever, awesome map dude.

    I ran out of budget so that building looks a bit awkward, I agree, but when your playing and on the ground you don't notice it, and it looks better when your on the ground. Thanks for the compliment though. :)

    Yes, the gametype is changed. There are no waypoints above the humans heads and the zombies have poor camo and are black. The zombies and humans both have radars but the zombies is 75 meters and the humans are 25 meters. For some reason it wouldn't let me quote you or reply...

    This looks really well made and everything but it people make maps like this all the time. Because you seem to have forging skill I think you should make more new and different map! I challenge you! I don't know how to write this but right now it seems like I sound like a troll :( basically I think you have great skills but you should spend more time thinking of a great, unique level design before you make it. I hope that makes sense.
    PS I know it's a remake so it's originally from a while back but still :)

    I really like the attention to detail (for instance, the elevator buttons are awesome). Most of your destruction sections look pretty good and not clunky.

    I know what you mean, but I actually started this a LONG time ago, when there were hardly any city maps. I know what you mean though, and I'm actually working on a infection map right now that is only made out of natural pieces and the bottom of tin cups. It's just started though.

    This map looks awesome, I've played on it several times and helped you get things right. You didn't need to give me credit, I liked helping you out.
    Anyway, the map is a lot less campable now, and the destruction looks realistic. There are some neat spots to hold out, that look natural and occasional instead of staged/planned, which is very good. Like oomish said, the elevator buttons look amazing and so do some parts of the city.
    The gameplay seemed balanced, although my only big complaint was the fact that it used to be too difficult for the humans. However, I see you fixed that. You were also able to add a lot of sight line blockers which are not only good for both improved gameplay and aesthetics, but also to cancel any major framerate drops. I can't wait to play another game on this great map!

    Thanks for the compliment! I probably am now completely finished with this map, but I have recently made some small tweaks. When the fileshare-ing is working again, I'll put up the download links. Also, when it starts working again, you guys can excpect a HUGE map pack to be released around that time. So far I have four maps that I'm working on (I've finished the basic layout, but I need to test them and add some more aesthetic details).
