Nice map, but in the third and last picture, it just ruined it for me. The Massive amounts of Bracs Peices may have looked semi-nice in the center, but after I saw the last picture and realized the overlapping covered the entire floor, I was immediatly done with this map. Even If the shape of the center is good, the braces will just be too ugly, maybe a distraction in gameplay, or it will make people just not want to play the map. But until that point, I rather liked your use of interlocking peices to make odd shapes. And the Glass (antana) in the last picture, they don't look good. They rarely do, and I suggest replacing them, and the ramp steep
In my opinion, this map looks excellent. The bases look unique, and the whole map looks like a more mechanical, factory-ish and darker re-imagining of Asylum. Haven't downloaded just yet but it looks as if all the glass, lights and pieces may drop frame rates. Anyway nice job, dl'd
I liked the map, and thought the bases could be opened up a little more, but... Dat framerate! Fix the floor!
the map itself is well laid out and unique, definitely a match for asylum but the Z-fighting with the braces at rocket spawn could cause some bumping and defintely mess up frame rate, overall good map but next time keep framerate in mind
now hold on i tried this map with 8 people and 4 player split screen and found little to no lage the map is well thought out and carfully forged right down to the last block.
I really like it design wise but in the video it showed some glitching from the large bracers... If that was fixed I would like to test it on with my friday group.
I see framerate lag written ALL over this map especially at the places where all the braces r to fix this you could reduce a fighting by grabbing one piece and moving it up or done so little it isn't noticeable by pushing in the left stick to go in slow motion and then move it.
i like the creativity in the design of everything but game play it seems like it would lag do to the mass of braces in the middle :/ [br][/br]Edited by merge: oh i probably should have read the other posts i didnt notice that wat i said has already been said about 5 times :/
its a very nice map i must say i apsolutly LOVE that middel part with the water its very impresive, ive never seen anythin like it but overall it looks like a very fair and even map with alot of fast pase fighting.
It may not, but that's not the only problem it could cause. It would either cause massive loads of z-fighting, or make the entire middle bumpy.
