Halo: Galaxy of Combat; a MMOFRS

Galaxy of Combat is a massive multiplayer online first person shooter developed by BVG studios. BVG studios is a fan-based studio that makes no money and doesn't hire people who aren't willing to work for free. Since Galaxy of Combat is a fan-made game it is built in cooperation with fans, but will also have graphics of lesser quality, unfortunetly.

The release is scheduled for sometime in 2012 for the PC only. BVG studios has announced that you will eventually be able to do minor custimizations, such as placing kill zones, on portions of some planets as your group progresses by winning battles. They have also announced that you will be able to join groups and face other groups in massive land, sea, and space battles.

There is more info on GoC at the BVG studios website.

I remember watching a trailer for this about 6 months ago and even then it surpised me! it looks very interesting. As they are a fan group, i wouldn't expect the best graphics and awesome muiltiplayer and combat.

Im am very excited for a different kind of play.

I must say it does looks really good for an indie game. But if 343 was to adopt this game...

Glad to see this is getting some recognition on Forge Hub. I'm also glad I ran into this thread. Hopefully, members from Forge Hub are willing to join the community. The forums are dying and we in need of new members who will contribute and be active.
