    Cobble
Hello everyone I am here today with a preview of a map I have been working on for the past month or so. Cobble is a 4v4 asymmetrical map that focuses on fast-paced game-play while providing enough segregated areas as to provide safe spawning. Pictures below:

Thanks for looking at my map preview. If you wish to look at the map in further detail you can download it here. All feedback is welcome!

Wow, this looks really cool, Sora. Just be careful with pillars of any kind in open areas- Those are usually bad for gameplay as players like to dance around them.

Great job on the mines, too. I gotta check this out sometime.

I really enjoyed playing this map. Good 4v4 asyms are hard to come by theses days, and this one plays great. Flag had a few issues when I played, but in general, gameplay is great. The aesthetic theme is also really unique and refreshing. Overall, I think this is definitely an improvement from Clover, and definitely a map I want to play again in the future. Good work Sora!

Looks great, just from looking I'm not too fond of the ground level though--it seems really crowded. I could be completely wrong, though. Pictures can be deceiving.

If I am ever able to get on again (it'll probably be released by the time that happens), I'll try to get a game on this.

Agreed on both points. Looks crowded but its hard to tell without playing it. I assume this is your new version of Lilly. This looks good and seems to have fixed a few issues with version one. Looking forward to playing this- hopefully I'll be able to get on TCOJ with you sometime soon.

I liked how Lilly was going to be .

I liked how Lilly V2 was going .

I like how Cobble is mixing Lilly and Lilly V2 .

One question : Does the map kept the green color ?

Thanks for the heads up Eightball. I hope it isn't an actual problem because I made sure the pillars had some actual structure to them, but if future testing reveals they are a problem I will make sure to fix it up.

Thanks Duck! I am currently trying to resolve the problem regarding the CTF, but testing has so far revealed this is going to be one of those maps that can only play slayer, which is a shame because I like my maps to support a variety of games.

Thanks! If anything fancies your eye feel free to use it.

Whether middle is crowded or not really depends, I ensured that every structure in center is at the minimum 2 whole units away from the nearest structure. So you have ample room to strafe and run around. And yes Audience you are right in assuming this is the new and improved version of Lilly. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks Frenchy. The map did not keep the green color because I had been told by several people that the map visually resembled Clover and that was something I wanted to avoid. I changed the color to orange and that will later tie in with the theme.

Yeah, this definitely does aesthetically resemble Clover in a lot of ways. However, the mining theme and enclosed nature of the map sort of fix that, so it's really just a recurring forging style that Sora is using. Also, if I remember correctly, those pillars in the first screenshot are actually very wide and flat, which keeps players from naturally wanting to dance around them. The bottom level is'nt crowded either, it's actually fairly open, but not too open.
