How to make an underground tunnel: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=21042319 Now there can be beaver creek remakes, and hopefully some sweet underground maps.
I see... 10 posts... and you joined in January... If you were active you would know how old this news is...
I don't get it. All it did was Geomerge. Although he did it with a crate which I thought was impossible. Still don't see how it's an underground tunnel.
Silly Reynbow, you can't be condescending to members older than you. =D And it's not that this isn't helpful, it's just one of those 'You didn't think of this yourself?' kind of things.
I concur with Reynbow. This is a pretty old thing. It's not called 'Underground Tunnel', though, it's called Merging. If you can somehow MAKE an underground tunnel that's accessible with that, that would be new to me. But what I saw was just merging.
1. He said you can WALK UNDERGROUND with it, the ground doesnt stay inside the box. 2. Idk if he is lying or not. 3. I know you can put a open box in the ground, but can you walk through it normally? No, this says you can.
I don't get how it's fake. It's a geomerge. BTW, if you're gonna make an 'underground tunnel' thing, you'll have to build it up from the base. Meaning, if you just put a double open box into the ground, it's not a tunnel. That's a box stuck in the ground that you can't get into all the way.
Only way I can imagine underground tunnels working is if you geo'd open boxes way down in to the ground, then geo'd teleporters down next to them. Still, if you were too far down the death barrier might bother you.
If I needed to make a underground tunnel, I'd put it outside the map I was working on with teleporters on each end.
