Only the penitent man will pass...

Last Crusade is of course inspired by the Indiana Jones Movie: The Last Crusade. I've constructed the map based on the aesthetics of the movie as well as making the map player-friendly, ie. 1 checkpoint in the middle... because you first timers will most certainly die, unless you have some serious mad skillz.
I've also included a fun little twist at the end when you reach the grail... at least you THINK you've reached the grail. Only those with the greatest knowledge of forging physics will understand how to reach the end. If you think you have what it takes, try to pass the three trials to immortality. Again this is a warning: This is difficult and you will most likely get frustrated at certain points, but I promise you, the map is easily doable when you figure each trial out.
Enough talk. Check out some sweet pictures:

First trial is the Breath of God

Second trial is the Word of God
"Only in the footsteps of God will he proceed."

Third trial is the Path of God
"Only in the leap from the lion's head will he prove his worth."

If enough people ask for it I will try to post a walk-through at some point. Thanks for checking out my map. I hope it's as fun to play it as it was fun to forge it.

    Forge on brothas!

Looking at the photos and reading through your descriptions, I gotta say it really reminds me of a LoZ dungeon.

The second test reminds me of the fake floors in the Shadow Dungeon of OoT. The third reminds me of a hook shot puzzle. Good job!

That is amazing. the last crusade is one of my favorite movies of all time, and this is awesome. now you just need to find a way to take someones head off.

There is no problem with this at all, except maybe, just maybe, you could make the leap of faith inside like a building. but i still think this is the best puzzle ever (except if youve seen the movie you know how to do it)

Very original, very good aesthetics, very well forged.
I'm usely not into puzzle maps but maybe I will pick this up some time.

    Great job!

Finally! Another Indiana Jones puzzle map that doesn't have a killball. I'm getting bored of playing those silly kill ball maps, so it's nice that you shake things up a bit with this.

I'll let you know how it plays when I get the chance.

I apologize in advance, but there are indeed two kill balls. They represent the saws at the beginning of the first trial. Forge mode doesn't exactly supply saws, so I figured moving killballs would work pretty well instead... Hope you still enjoy it though!

yeah but he probably meant the Indiana Jones minigame maps where you have to run away for a rolling killball ;)

I was trying to make something just like this for quite some time now. The tile thing I had down right to the fall-through plates and I was even using a similar checkpoint system. I like the aesthetics in your version more than mine though. Good job with the map!

Great map - took my about 20 minutes to get through the fall through plates but after that how am I supposed to jump across? Any tips? Can you post a walkthrough?

I apparently don't have enough room on my file share to post a vid, but I'll give you a hint. For the last trial, crouch as far left as you can and then try to make it across the gorge... hopefully that helps!

Just be sure to follow the symbols on the tiles... Again, I tried to follow the movie as much as possible... Jehovah ;)

the map looks good and reasonably faithful to the original movie but this is obvious that this is a puzzle map and puzzle maps belong in the mini game section. you can ask a moderator to get it moved

great job on this map. I like how you added the challenges off the last crusade movie.... definitly fitting for petra. It has inspired me to improve my version :)... I look forward to trying your custom gametype out on this to see all the challenges , expecially the invisible path
