Thanks to Waypoint CT is back on the file share!

Here are a few suggested game types. It still works for almost anything:

    CTF

    Assault

This map was inspired by my ongoing desire to create a playable office building in forge. I wouldn't say that either of these two monoliths ended up looking exactly like any office building that I have been to, but hey. It is a competitive map. The aesthetics are just there so that you have something to look at while you are shooting people anyway.

There will certainly be no shortage of violence on this map. Aside from the two elevated walkways, the large metallic-grey void between the two offices has very little cover. That, combine with the sniper rifle and focus rifle on each roof, will make moving outside on foot risky.
To compensate each building has two garages. One human, one covenant, and then there is a falcon on the roof. The vehicles will make the trip across the map quicker and safer. However, each roof is also equipped with a spartan laser. The roof to roof battle for map control can be very important to the overall outcome of the game.

There are several gadgets inside the buildings to mess around with. I put in a very basic two way teleporter "elevator" system. It's nothing too exciting, but it works. Upstairs there is a zip line that will shoot you down into the base from the roof. It is both effective, and makes for a dramatic entrance.
I wish that I could have done more visually outside, but 10g's will only buy you so much. Whatever you do, don't fly the falcon over the invisible fence.

The man cannons next to the side ramps in the middle of the map will shoot a player onto a balcony right next to the opposing team's office. These balconies are where most of the power weapons are located. Since the space inside has pretty close quarters, power weapons can be very useful. The way it is setup the attacking team has more direct access to them than the defending team.

Finally, you can shoot down the "Sun"/kill ball and then push it right through your enemies front door. It is a metaphor for what what the modern corporation is willing to do to the environment in order to get ahead... or something like that.

FOR CTF AND ASSAULT: CHANGE FLAG/BOMB CARRIER from "PASSENGER ONLY" to "NO DRIVER."
(That is the only change you need so I didn't make 2 new custom game types.)

    Zipline

Nice looking map. I don't really see the office theme, probably wouldn't have guessed that without reading it. I do like the way it turned out though, and will give it a try.

Question: How does the zip line work? I was thinking about making something like that and I'm curious about what the mechanics are like.

Thanks, yea the theme kinda faded away as I realized that cubicles and one-door offices don't make for a fun map.
I actually downloaded your Hedron map the other day. Very cool. That is the kinda stuff I just can't do. It took a lot of disassembling to figure out.

The zip line is just a one way shield, orange side up, slightly pushed into the bottom surface of any slanted flat object.

This map's idea is definitely there, I like the office style of a red and blue office base. Maybe this could be a territories map? Also try messing around with forge details of your office buildings to make them more like offices instead of castle towers. This is a nice quality map

Thanks, yea I just joined Forge Hub. Never had any feedback before. I have only really made or played on Slayer, Assault, and CTF game type maps right now, but I'm working on figuring the other ones out.
