    NOTE: The screens in this post are from the tempest version, the new version is on forgeworld above the skybox, it therefore has more consistent lighting and is quite a bit cleaner.

    This isn't exactly a map adoption, but more of a 50/50 type partners thing

    Basically I've 100% completed the geometry of my map The Proving Grounds, I have also placed a weapon set that I think works well, and spawn points for standard slaver games. So what i'm trying to say is that the work is basically all done ha :p

    So heres why I need one of you guys

    I'm looking for an active member of these boards, one who i'll hopefully recognise by username (that doesnt mean you'll recognise me ha, i'm often to busy to be very active), who will tweak the weapon set and spawns and make the map playable with a few more popular gameypes, so nothing major. I would also like the map tested a little bit before release, and then finally I would like you to post the map in the competitive section giving me 50% of the credit :) The reason why i can't do this myself is because I am incredibly busy at university with my architecture degree so i don't have the time unfortunatley :(

    Ideally i am looking for someone experienced in placing spawns and weapon sets and someone who can also provide a nice thread for the map (videos of the map would be especially nice :) though not at all essential). So yeah, thats about it if you are interested please post below with an example of one of your map threads. Thanks.

    The map is a 2v2 competitive map based on a quake map of the same name, here are some screens to hopefully sway someones decision.

    I'd like to... but I have one question; is the reason you need someone to do more 'advanced' spawning and game-types because you don't know how? Or strictly because you don't have time. Because I would be happy to take 30 minutes out of my day to teach you that stuff. It's not as scary as people think and I'm seeing an increasing amount of people that don't know this kind of stuff.

    Anyway, if you don't know and want to learn, then FR me sometime, otherwise, I'd be happy to adopt your map.

    I not incredibly experienced at doing advanced spawning and gametypes, but I do know the basics. However like I said before i'm really busy recently, so i'm just looking for someone to place spawns weapons, objectives, test the map and then release it :)

    Sounds like you want someone else to do your dirty work for you... You took this much time to forge the map, why not take the extra hour setting it up for competitive play? You have got a naked map, and it doesn't that long to dress it.

    You've already gotten someone to offer you some help in terms of setting up your map with spawns and gametypes. You should definitely take the time to learn how a map functions in collaberation with spawns, objective placements etc.
