    Many of you are most likely familiar with Shipment; everyone's favorite killstreak crazy map from Call of Duty 4. As well, you've all probably seen a Halo remake or two based off of Shipment. However, I can assure you that you've never seen one like this before. Zatherla and Sky have sincerely outdone themselves to bring you the most convince variant of Shipment you'll ever see in Halo:Reach; Confined.

    Confined is assuredly a sum of all its parts. Whether it be the aesthetic structures such as the car or the aesthetic touches in the piece choices for the containers, there is something that you will marvel at amid all the combat. There is of course the minute details, such as how the natural geometry seems to flow in similar fashion to Shipment or how the filter adds, no rather removes the right amount of color from everything.

    Aesthetics are simply but one portion of a map and would be nothing without a healthy dosage of gameplay. While the opinion that Shipment played well may be a hotly contested one, it certainly played interesting and recognizably. This is something that Confined does well to capitalize upon. While the spawning may be tight and furious and the lines of sight may be short, Confined still plays a brand of Halo that is Halo, yet something else entirely. It plays somewhat akin to how a Call of Duty would feel if it were adapted to Halo. Faster, but not Swat and furious, but still effectively promoting great teamwork.

    It's for certain that the gameplay of Shipment was never everyone's cup of tea nor will it ever be. However, it isn't to say that Confined does not have a multitude of other reasons to be admired. Foreign Treasures II was as tight of a race as any contest ever is here at Forge Hub, but Confined stood above the rest and earned it's place as the victor of Foreign Treasures II.

    Meh. I didn't play many of the Foriegn treasure maps, but i did play this one. I didn't like it that much cause people could jump onto containers and places that weren't allowed to get a shorter path, which is able to happen on COD, to my knowledge. It was well forged but gameplay just killed it for me.*

    *all of this was in a testing session, so I'm not sure if it was fixed or not.

    But Congrats!


    Also...Why do we use the concept art of powerhouse as our "Featured Map" banner...?

    I would assume nobody wants to take the time to edit a new banner every time...

    Anywho, this map doesn't strike me as being a map that would transfer well into halo... but I haven't played it, so I can't really judge it.

    Congrats, regardless.

    To all those who are complaining about the kill zones: On top of all of the crates is a soft kill barrier that I made sure covered the entire box with no silly corners sticking out for people to exploit. Yes this means you can get onto the boxes above. But only for a short period of time. With the gametype made for the map, you can't get up there anyway due to the reduced jump height.

    I just figured that there would be a more up to date banner. Not like I was requesting a different banner each time.

    I somehow have to disagree with this one, don't get me wrong, the details are amazing, but the maps itself is rather bad, there is framerate and the spawns are strange in my opinion ... but I never really liked shipment, I'm sure you guys could have easily forged a better map together

    I'm sure we could have picked a different map if we had more time, but we start5ed this contest rather late, and this seemed to be our only option. Also, for the spawns being strange, I copied every single one from COD4, but since the spawning system in COD is different, it was hard to replicate it, so i added a few more spawns in some neutral safe areas to try to get that better gameplay experience. And yes, there is framerate, but that is not from the pieces alone on the map. The framerate is because the map is a constant grenade-spam fest, all the grenades and explosions are causing framerate. To counter this I made a Call Of Duty gametype on my fileshare which plays 1v1 and 2v2 fine with no noticeable framerate lag. And before people quote me and say that "this was a 4v4 contest", once again, I did not pick to win, nor did I expect to win...

    Thanks for being honest. It was a rushed submission, we didn't really get much time to test, but we tried to remove as much of the framerate as possible, which was hard considering we used nearly EVERY block available to us just to make it all.

    Love the details/graphics, not so much of the surroundings in the map itself.

    This looks like a great map, but it reminds me more of COD then halo so it doesn't really fit in, but the game play is awsome no over powering wepones and camping spots good work.

    I really don't know how to let this to you gently, but that was kind of the entire point of making a call of duty remake.

    Very Good. A faithful remake, with very appropriate placement, and even little details like the crashed car (which probably could've been done a little bit better.)

    We were literally at our object limits with the cars. I had to stop Zath from making the little pillars out of flag stands. It's odd how small the map is yet we used nearly every object in the Structure section.
