[FONT="]This is my second MLG map. It is a symmetrical map, with 4 simular bases all around a two level core. It is best played with MLG slayer, or MLG slayer 1v1. Due to it's small size it works best as a 1v1 map. map looks clean, nd looks great. the pieces you used for the flooring in the middle are difforent, nd new to the eye, i like. I love the thin windows used for the sticky corners too. Not a fan of the 4x4s for walls tho, but I never did like pieces with too much blue showing, but thats just difforent forge styles i guess, im a grey kinda guy. Still map looks great, nd I'm kinda bussy with my own project and alot of work rite now, but I would love to give it a try, nd will once i get the chance .
Thanks Iglize, I love the 4x4 corners used as flooring. The windows are just for a nice little view when you are no scoping people . As for the 4x4 walls. Didn't love them myself but they fitted nicely so I was just like, great. Can't wait for your map. Send me a link in message when you are done.
looked over your map, nd I love the simplicity of it, although here are some things to think about: -bottom sticky corners are very tight, the map is very small as it is. -the size looks like things can get very hectic in 4v4s, but maybe in a good way, not sure, didnt play a game on it yet, but from the looks of it it does look like there would be problems with 4v4s. -the ramps leading to the bottom floor seem tight too. mabie open up the lv just a little bit in places, seems like this could be fun though for quik games.
This looks interesting, but your pics are all just close-ups. I would definitely recommend taking some photos from further away and adding them to this post. Perhaps an overhead shot?
Hey guys. The map is in fact designed to create very hectic games for 4v4s where it requires mainly skill to get yourself out of a bad position, not a nice spawn. I understand that the bottom corners are very tight, this was something I tried to work around and in the end all my ideas fell on their face. In the end I just said. Well they'll have to be that small then. All in all I don't think it destroys gameplay too much, but saying that I haven't done a 4v4 on it yet. I can vouch for it's 1v1 playability though. I'll do that next time I have a minute Skisma.
