Another map creation that has been just entered the beta stages, one of my first 2v2 maps that has been attempted. In some cases I planned it to be a 4v4 but because of the small layout I have decided to keep it to a 2v2. I have moved to a more focused forge team called Allspark. I must say it is the most unique set of forgers I have ever worked with, one does infection, another does invasion, I do slayer competitive 4v4 and another does btb maps. Well, enough of that, onto Espiritu, which means "Spirit" in spanish. This map has thus so far played fairly well and I hope that there won't be too much I need done. I've watched you since that huge post that should have been just one map pack. You have gotten better, much better. It looks great but I would like a closer look at the layout. Pics 4 and 5 make it seem symmetrical and the similar design of the red and blue rooms coupled with the clearly asymmetrical center confuses me further. It like Beaver Creek symmetrical. This does actually look interesting. The center of the map looks very nice, and the aesthetics throughout the map look clean and well-done. Like Career said, though, I can't really figure the layout out from the screenshots. Is it symmetrical? The center looks like it could be in a strange, inverse way, but I'm not sure. Regardless, keep working on this and Majestica, as both maps seem to be shaping up rather well. Also, who is this invasion forger in this forging group of yours?
I love this map and the spawning system you made is seeming to be 99% flawless. Your style of asymmetrical symmetric maps still makes me giddy and it makes me happy to know I helped you with this one. Invite me for testing again next time, even those spawn tests were fun here. As it was said before, you forging/map creating skills have gotten incredibly better and I just wanted to congratulate you on that.
its ironic you say 99% cus I did the math and the exact chance to get spawn killed overall in 4 games was 1.14942528735632% lolololol (calculated by the amount of times spawn vs when you spawn close to opponents LOS). I apologize, when I post this for real i'll be sure to mention your FH name panic. the layout is Asymmetrical, Although I designed it symmetrically first to have a more balanced Asymmetric. Gametypes I believe will be mostly Asymmetric as well with the exception of koth and oddball. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Roug3, he's quite the unique aesthetic forger that isn't well known. So upon farther review I have decided I hate your poll, but this map is what a Reach map should be. Fast faced, balanced and unpredictable. I don't believe perfection can be acheived in Reach, but this is damn close. Some of the best games I have played have been testing this.
map is looking very sick, i think that this astheticaly is outstanding and you never seem to run out of ideas in forge.
Well, this is much more appealing to me than some of your other maps. Forging looks clean- plenty of color, aesthetics. You have a great blend of natural environment, and what appears to be a solid layout with no light-mapping issues. Send me an inv sometime.
