I recently submitted a shirt for critique on Threadless based on an idea I came up with almost four years ago. Some of you have already seen in and given feedback, but the more the merrier. Critique on Threadless Comments are welcome on either site, though the latter will help bump it so I can get more people to comment on it. Regarding the tee placement, it will be lower on the V2 I do sometime tomorrow. I'm also probably going to tighten up the landmasses on the Earth. Anywho, here's the design. Spoiler v2 v3 Chuck suggested adding shadows instead of lines. Jupiter is done, V3.
I tried to do the shirtless thing, they're pretty harsh over there. Anywho, the only thing I'm seeing is that it's pretty simplistic, which they really hate on threadless. The other side of that, they do love really cartoony stuff, but it has to be detailed and cartoony.
That's what I said. I think the only thing it needs is some finer detail on the planets and it would sell the imagery better.
Yeah Rorak said to at least add some lines and that storm circle to Jupiter. I'll do that later today. Anything else for the other planets aside from maybe some arbitrary lines to make it more textured?

Besides the details needing a boost on the planets to help differ them, I would say maybe add some more space related in there too? I think it would look abit nicer to have the place in there. Also I would suggest to try and put this on a t-shirt template and post that too, helps more with what should be changed or not imo.
Ah didn't see that sorry. Version 2 looks alot better btw. Yes, I would think it would help by adding some here and there on it.
the issue with that is it requires another color, white, when I'm at the max without having to be considered a specialty print. plus it'd be kinda weird to have it speckling part of the front and not carry around the entire shirt.
Adding detail to the planets makes the piece much better. I don't think adding stars and such would really be good for this kind of piece as it wouldn't fit the pac-man like theme.
V3 with a redone Jupiter. My concern is it now looks like the other planets are really undeveloped, is that an issue?
I actually like v2 better, version 3 just doesn't seem quite right. I don't suppose you could just shrink down a picture of Jupiter lol
If you're working in illustrator or photoshop there is a history window where you can undo basically everything you've done. Also you could just save the image in this thread and work from that. Or you could just go with v3, not a huge difference I just thought it looked off.
um...maybe remove the lines from mars, I mean it is known as the red planet, just being red is enough to clearly display it is mars.
