That's pretty much everything, if anyone gets the chance to playtest this leave your feedback thanks.
If framerate / discoflashing is an issue I'll switch out the covenant barriers for some different objects which are less resource hogging.

I was thinking to myself that "hey, this looks cool" and after a couple minutes I realzed it looked awfully familiar... Then I looked up at your GT and realized why. Haha. When we gonna play this again? I wanna see how the current version performs!

Hi BK, this is Storm 0ne from HWM. I was checking my own post when I was surprised to see yours! I just gave Carbon a look

At first glance, I really like the limited power weapons and the use of powerups, but I also noticed there's not much relief from all the grey. It seems like you were concerned with gameplay rather than the aesthetics or theme. That's great, but I find Halo is funner when things look pretty too. But I wouldn't recommend redesigning your completed map, because that would be extremely tedious

My OCD also noticed a lot of hitches with things like the colosseum wall flooring. There's not much you can do about that, but it always bugs me. A simple solution is avoiding the problem by using objects you don't need to rotate. But the flooring is fine because that's necessary in large maps

This is all pretty subjective though. Otherwise, the map looks great and I can't think of any suggestions. Oh... and why is the map called Carbon? Pencil lead comes to mind haha

    Cheers

I made the video before I polished out most of the bumps with the huge wall pieces so those pieces should be quite flush now.

The map did feature better aesthetics but there were minor framerate problems so I got rid off $1500 worth of objects as this map is designed for competitive BTB (BTB.net) so I wasn't concerned too much about how it looked. If it plays well then I'm happy :]

Also more about the map name, the map is made up of various "ring paths" and in aromatic chemistry Carbon is the primary element of aromatic ring compounds so I used it.

The map looks awesome I can really see rats nest in this map it looks cleanly forged but it does look a little bland and really grey with very few to no aesthetic. Besides that nice BTB map. I will DL and try to get a game on it then I will update my post

Well I hope you find that it does play well, it certainly seems like it should. And clever use with the name, I thought maybe it was because the map was supposed to be shaped like a diamond. See you around!
